Just finished my workout. I'm doing the Couch to 5K running plan. I hope to run a 5k this summer. Either that or just keep up the plan.

My husband and I used the iOS apps "Ease Into 5K" by Bluefin Software and "C25K - 5K Trainer" by Zen Labs back then. We once lived near Arcadia High School and we could freely go to the track. Running is so much fun.

Let me know how it works out please.

I was thinking that I would like to start running again once it’s spring here (May-ish).

I’d have to start from couch unfortunately.

I'm using the RunDouble app for Android. Pretty good for a free app. I love the running but hate the.soreness after! Even with stretching before and after... yikes.

I will! A friend just completed it and she's lost 20 lbs so far. And is going to run her first race in NYC in the spring. :)

I posted this a few days ago...

Discover sent me an email titled "Get $50 Cashback Bonus." I started reading but stopped when the message said, "Dear Jessica." I am no Jessica!

I didn't really contact Discover about them calling me Jessica but for some reason, they realized their mistake and wrote me an email of apology several minutes ago. Screenshot below. My three-word first name starts with Mary but no one ever calls me Mary.

To me it looks like a marketing ploy.

Make you feel more warm towards the company and the offer.

I think it was a real mistake. I actually don't mind reading emails on Discover Cashback Bonus. I've been a Discover customer for years and have accumulated a good amount of rewards balance. Not all offers are useful to me but sometimes they are. And rewards are very convenient to use when shopping on Amazon, another thing that I so enjoy. :D

I don't want to walk to the supermarket and walk back. It is a long walk and it is still really cold out.

My wife dropped me off dahntahn yesterday. I went to a record store and got a CD I ordered last week. The weather was miserable. Around the freezing point and very slushy. I went to the Sprint store and got a new wall/car charger for our cell phones. I got a couple of post cards and stationery. I'e been writing post cards to friends and family lately. I wrote a little letter to my 9-yo nephew. My wife, her daughter and I went to the Carnegie Science Center, that was in February I think, but anywho, they had a whole department with only robots, and since my nephew is a huge Star Wars fan, I took pictures and had them developed recently, so I could send them to him. I hope he will like that.

The boring part was I missed the bus home by probably 2 minutes, and there's only one bus per hour, so I had to kill a lot of time, and I am not very good at that. I am not much of a fan of aimlessly strolling around like that.

On the bright side, my wife and I had brunch at Eat N'Park on Sunday. I tried their potato soup. Wow! My wife told me they only have the potato soup on Wednesdays and Sundays, and that might be a good thing, cause otherwise I'm sure people would OD on it, cause it's like crack!

My wife and I went to the Montreal@Pittsburgh hockey game on Tuesday. I'm a lifelong Canadiens fan, and my wife and I met through the Penguins official message board, so it was very cool to go to the game together. We have tickets to go to the next meeting between the two teams in April, and then on Tuesday a friend of ours from the Pens message board asked if we wanted to use her two season tickets, as she was unable to make it to the game. So we got to go to the Tuesday game too. It was awesome (even though the Penguins won by a soccer-type score of 1-0). B-)
