And you haven't noticed that pizzas are made by um...non Italian workers?

Not where I buy it from.

I know what you are talking about, but where I lived in Connecticut was not very diverse. *cough*

Holy ####### that's absolutely gorgeous.......

There is nothing as beautiful as Washington state in the summer. It is the dry season here. Very, very low humidity. Highs in the mid 70s. It does rain a lot here, but the summers...the days are so long and there is so much to do here.

That's nice, I am jealous.

This is a rental house. Our landlords planned to retire here, but they have health problems now and nearest hospital is 40 minutes away at best. They had to move closer to services. My husband worked from home at the time we rented this. At the end of the summer, he got laid off. He got another job, but now he has to commute 75 minutes away to work. So we'll probably move in June after our daughter is done with school. We don't want to, but too much time is lost in commuting. We don't plan to move far from here because we really like the general area. Even if we could just get it down to 45-50 minutes would be fine. :star:

See, if I was in America I'd want a real NY style pizza made by real Italians....not Pizza Hut or Papa John's...

When in the US we buy real chicago style pizza.

We were kind of nuts to come out here in the first place. It was kind of like a visa journey. We visited out here in 2009, fell in luv, and decided to move as soon as possible. In 2011, we sold off all of our stuff, crammed the rest in the car and Relocube, and moved out here. No jobs, just a hotel to go to, no family, lol, just hopes and dreams and some money in the bank. Within six weeks, my husband had the kind of job he could only dream of in Indiana, we found a great rental house, and that's been that ever since. We do miss my relatives and our friends back east, but honestly can't see moving back. That's what Southwest is for.

I need to get myself a hobby farm some day. I am jealous of that. :)

The furthest I've considered moving to is Pound Ridge NY (right around where the Clintons live). But my wife found a nice career here. I have a great gig.....I can commute, she can't. And she doesn't wanna stay home. But I don't wanna stay in NYC....gotta find a compromise somewhere down the road....

As for you, keep trekking those mountains there, we're jealous of you...

I briefly considered OR, but had to trash that idea because the economy is pretty dead there.

I bought our bed from Ikea tonight. That place hurts my head. There are too many choices. However, their meatballs and potatoes are AWSUMMMMMM.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.
