I'm mad that my husband got the cable TV hooked up. We have been renovating our house for the last 6.5 months without cable and are in the final stages like painting. I did nothing today except watch Bravo all day. It was a Shahs of Sunset marathon for about 5 hours. Oh well, at least it wasn't a Here Comes Honey Boo Boo marathon.

I have the same problem -- I'm 4'11". But I live in skirts and dresses year-round, so it's a matter of shopping wisely and having a good tailor. I need to bring the tailor this lovely dress (classic black velvet with a boatneck, perfect for accessorizing) I bought at Christmas. It's SIX inches too long, and it's a petite!wacko.gif But I prefer hems above the knee on me. My favourite dress in my closet is from Modcloth: http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/stealth-forces-dress

Maven, just clicked on the link and I think that I found my new addiction...love the decorating stuff

Had drinks last night with my male BFF. He's had a string of bad dates for the past two years, and I've told him repeatedly that he keeps choosing women who are not available to him [...]
Where was this site when I needed it, huh man? http://www.shrink4men.com

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

TBone - He never ever gives me any warning but I should expect it as it is part of his morning routine. Totally gross but it still gets a laugh out of me every time.
Mini-Bone: Uh-oh -- booger!

T-B. [applauding the increase in vocabulary & comprehension]: Bravo, bravo!

I meant to tell you that the pic you posted of mini TBone was so cute!
(Well, finally) Thank you, si man. He will be 2 years old on Thursday, wee man.

It's so hilariously bad.

I can't help but be entertained.

Did you see the halloween episode?

When the mom dressed up as marilyn monroe, I didn't think she looked bad =[

I mean she's a big girl, so she looked better than she did 90% of the time.

It was all over the media laughing at her after the fact =[

I haven't seen it yet, it is one of the new ones, right? I'll have to hunt it down somewhere. Honey Boo Boo hasn't quite caught on in Denmark and I don't think TLC keeps full episodes on its website.

Part of me likes that they are just such a normal family and part of me likes that I can ogle at them. It is hard to explain and I don't tend to like too many of the reality shows.

I agree.

I know exactly how you feel.

Even when they tape chubs pickin' her nose and eatin' it I'm just sittin' there like AMG THIS IS HILARIOUS

We have TLC here in Canada, but I watch most of the shows I like on websites which shall remain publicly nameless.

<33 those websites.

Oh and the halloween episode was on last sunday 1/6

What do you do when the attitude of the person you want to report to the HR dept IS the HR dept.

And the HR dept consists of the co-owners wife -_____________-

Grumpy former coworker. Find a new job go-go! I suppose all jobs have a bad element to them, though.

We just dropped the price on the house by $26,000. Maybe it will sell?
