A lady at my apartment building, who lives on the first floor, has decided that apparently she owns the parking spot near her suite and has extended her flower pots etc into that parking spot (complete with christmas lights and other lighted decorations). Today, when I was backing out of a parking spot next to all these pots with dead plants and flowers, I knocked over one and it looked like I made quite a mess. I believe I actually snickered as I drove away.

The fat lady next door to me was parking with her car half in front of the driveway while we were gone.

After the third time of my MIL not being able to park in our space because she was blocking the drive, she saw the lady and sternly, but not aggressively, told her she was not allowed to park there (which also is in front of a fire hydrant but she hasn't cared about that part for 10 months).

The lady so kindly told her to f*** off.

The fat lady and her boyfriend are always vomiting in the bathroom early in the morning (I believe their toilet is on the otherside of my living room wall) and always making noise until 2am.

I'm tired of my husband waking ME up at 2am to complain about THEM making noise.

If he does it again tonight, I'm calling the cops. Enough is enough.

And I feel terrible for the old lady living below them because they stomp like elephants.

In other news, tech support did a bunch of ####### on my router last night trying to figure out why my internet was so slow at only 12-14mbps when it is normally at 90.

Now, today, here I am not working because I'm getting an error about data encryption every time I try to connect to my remote computer.

Work tech support is slow as usual and not responding to my ticket, and Rogers has informed me that "it's very unfortunate that you are having problems connect remotely, however, we made no changes to your router"

I'm very behind after being off for 11 days, got barely anything done yesterday, have a show setting up tomorrow, haven't gotten them any paperwork on it, and have (2) shipments going out today that I haven't set up.

OH JOY!

this may make the first time a husband goes to jail for waking up his wife.

When I was in the states this past december, I decided to forgo buying a battery for my car.

I figured, no big deal, it only started having problems like a month ago, it can surely go a few more months.

Arrived back in canada on 12/27. Car battery officially dead on 1/2.

Drove on 1/1 with no problems as usual, but I guess dropping to 16 degrees was just too much for it.

Thank god my MIL's boyfriend bought us a 100 dollar grocery card for christmas or Id be SCREWED.

Bought a new battery for 80 bucks (plus the wonderful canadian tax of course) and installed in the effing cold weather on 1/3.

Hands completely killing me, feel like I'm going to die.

Apparently in a PT cruiser you have to take out like half the ####### under the hood to put a new battery in.

Finish installing just as the sun is pretty much completely down.

Car won't start. Making crazy noises.

Fat lady next door pulls into the drive with her annoyingly loud boyfriend who mentions he's a mechanic and goes to smoke a cig on their porch.

Continue trying to start car. Finally give in and ask annoying boyfriend for help.

Annoying boyfriend floods engine after 10 minutes and car finally starts.

Have to go spend more money on injector fluid and gas and driving aimlessly back and forth down the highway stretch.

Haven't driven since. Afraid it's not going to start anyways.

Can someone come and burn my car up please?

I'm going to my husbands work Christmas party this evening. It's bizarre to me that's it's AFTER Christmas but still called a Christmas party. My colleague tells me it's normal.. she has her boyfriends Hy-vee christmas party next weekend.

I suppose they just want everyone available.

We had ours on 12/14, though.

KDH that really sucks! My beloved Silverado is sitting idle in America and we had to return my mother's nice rental car this weekend. Thankfully it has warmed up some, because if the cold had continued...I'd still be taking the bus the mile or so to the supermarket.

You never know how much you love and appreciate having a car until all you have is a fixie bicycle in below freezing temperatures battling against the wind that is creating mega drag on your trailer with a 40 lb child and groceries in it. :crying:

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

As I was carrying my battery back out to my MIL's car I said 'thank god you took me to walmart because if I had to walk with this thing, matt would definitely be carrying it' lmao.

The battery is only like 8x7x7"h (TINY!) but shoot that thing was fricking heavy.

I wish someone would burn down my garage. Seriously its so crappy I'm afraid to change my homeowner's insurance because they will send someone to inspect it. I hope hubby will add roofing to his list of American home construction techniques he wants to learn.

Feeling pretty pooty today.

I found out it's pretty final that due to a small mistake I made a few months ago, we completely lost a client.

I can't help but feel terrible about the whole situation of it all even though the client is reacting completely out of line. BAH!
