That's a good price.

Makes me think you're buying the store brand, though

Nope! Kotex. star_smile.gifstar_smile.gifstar_smile.gif Here is a pic (3 boxes had already gone through the checkout) -- and apparently they were only $1.99 a box and 18 in each box. You can also see that I occasionally buy cheapo wine and am not kidding about cat treats.

Rock on, I didn't see the cost was in relation to your post.

I should have known jay jay wasn't buyin tampons for his wife when I know she's in a different country

In other exciting news, the taco bell closed in town.

Not surprised, it was complete #######.

I enjoy taco bell in the town i'm from in the US.

I know it isn't authentic mexican food, but I enjoy their tacos so, no comments necessary.

Being from chicago, I know mexican food.

Anyways, the taco bell here sucked and i told my husband now that it's gone, I'll suddenly be wanting to eat it.

And BAM i find this new burrito joint opened up downtown and we ate it for dinner.

It wasn't half bad considering my only other option up here for 3 years has been the TB.

Found it strange that it was run by a couple of korean brothers... guess there is just too much asian food in this town already.

Other things I bought today (because it's pay day)

• Charmin ultra strong (because it's the best TP ever) 16 pack of triple rolls for only $10 instead of $20

• 2 cans of catfood

• package of pads

• pepper and salt grinder for only $5 down from $10

Then got pizza hut at 10pm because, while the burrito place was good, I only got 2 tacos and they were small and I was still hungry. And my husband is always hungry.

I watched eight episodes of Law & Order: Criminal Intent back to back on Saturday night instead of going to my friend's 40th birthday party.

We live in a semi detached house converted into 2 apts on both sides (for a total of 4)

We are on the upper right. There was this crazy guy that lived on the upper left.

He's been a complete nuisance with pot smoking (this is a smoke free building) since we moved in in march.

The old landlords really never cared to do anything about it and even at one point blamed the next door neighbors.

We got some new lanlords (bought the building) on the first of november and they are pretty kick-booty so far.

This weekened, dude comes over to my apt complaining there are 8 inches of water in his bathroom and to call the LL and get him over ASAP.

8" isn't possible, the water would just spread through the apt... not to mention he's upstairs so it would go down the stairs at worst.

Anyways, I call the LL and he comes over shortly. Then, a few hours later, the guy next door is screaming and banging around.

I get a text from the LL saying he's finally moving out: he wasn't on the lease and the LL wasn't taking his sh*t anymore.

I run out with my husband to grab some chicken mcbites (which he seemed to have a craving for that day) and come back and the LL is there.

He's giving me an update of what happened and I'm going through the ads in the paper pulling them out.

As the LL goes to leave, I open the front door to throw the paper in the recycle bin and...

THE GUY NEXT DOOR STOLE MY FRICKING RECYCLE BIN TO PACK HIS ####### INTO!

And he never gave it back >=[

And now I think the chick next door brought her BF in to replace this dude and he's very loud.

I haven't heard this much coughing and door slamming from over there in all of my 9 months of living here

Ahh apartment living! At least this morning my neighbour didn't bang on the wall when my alarm went off.

On a more boring note:

I have a cold and I'm working on the chargebacks for last November on a spreadsheet. The person who previously worked on these spreadsheets didn't use any calculations. Who DOES that!

I received my visa and brown envelope in the mail today! The boring part was I had to wait outside the embassy for 30 minutes on a freezing cold Norwegian December day. Hawaii bound!

That isn't boring stuff!

Tonight I have concluded that either my husband and I fight an abnormally small amount or we fight in much healthier ways

/listening to neighbors yell at eachother for the past 3 hours

Yes I will admit my husband and I enjoy the hobby of putting our ears to the wall and laughing at what we hear out of them

I think I'm going to go to Bosley's this evening and find some Christmas accessories for my cat. His name is Hans Peter.
