Uh-OH I bet they mad now.. LOL Boy did they get duped..

Ohio food stamp checks are about to shrink

http://www.caintv.com/Ohiofoodstampchecksareabouttos-755

Currently, close to a million impoverished Ohioans collect federal assistance in the form of food stamps. If the thrust of last week’s election was, as many have argued, a welfare quid-pro-quo, it’s clear these people represented a big portion of the buckeye state’s pro-Obama vote.

I wonder how they’ll react when they find out their monthly check is about to get $50 smaller.

A combination of last year’s mild winter and a drop in the price of natural gas has led the government to lower the “Standard Utility Allowance” by $166 dollars for 2013. As a result, the amount each welfare recipient receives in food stamps will drop by $50 per month.

Those affected by the change should receive a letter in the next couple of weeks, informing them of their reduced income.

How a $166 dollar drop in natural gas prices and usage leads to only a $50 drop in food stamps is a mystery that’s likely buried in that vault from the X-Files. But, however the equation works, the feds have made the call and the cut is expected to save the government $520 million.

We’re sure those Ohioans who voted for Obama because Mitt Romney was going to cut their benefits have recognized the irony and will accept their predicament cheerfully. After all, this is the work of their chosen administration and should therefore not be questioned.

I'm just wondering why anyone would re-post anything from Cain TV. What the **?

As to the story, this can't be true and you know it because Obama is all about spending more of your hard earned cash on leeches and mooches. It's what you've been saying here all along. Are you saying that you were wrong?

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

AKA $25 less crack.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

"Impoverished" :rofl:

In Vermont a family of three making $2800 per month can collect nearly $3000 in benefits PLUS not pay income tax giving them the equivilent of $6,670 per month gross income (income, benefits and est. tax savings)...$80,040/yr. That's about $40/hr in a state where there are about 23 jobs paying that much! PLUS $10/mo. internet, $10/month cable TV, FREE basic cell phone service (Obamaphone)Even FREE legal services (in case they get sued)

And someone can still write an article stating they are "impoverished" as if this is Bangledesh

I am serious! I am DONE paying for this nonsense. January 1, I jump on the wagon and the rest of you can push it toward the fiscal cliff. Oh, it is nice to live in a BLUE state!

In Vermont the state made up the difference so my heating assistance will not be cut. Thank goodness, I was thinking I would have to turn the T-stat down to 72. Alla likes it about 76 degrees so she can run around naked most of the time.

John Kasich may still be mad at the result of the elections and his actions as a result of these cuts should give insight as to whether it is time for GOP payback to Ohioans.

We will find out if he really believes in smaller government and states fending for themselves....

What this story demonstrates is that contrary to the hype on the right, the welfare systems continue to run business as fcuking usual. The whole notion that Obama is hell bent on doling out more welfare is - and always has been - sheer and utter bullshite. This story makes that very clear.

Hilarious that people think food stamps is why Ohio (and other states) went for Obama. So out of touch.
