there will be an address in the POSTAL MAILED version of the RFE that the LPR will receive.

Also, there are instructions inside that postal letter as well.

Not have the postal letter? Wait another week.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

you might get an email notice that an RFE is to be issued,

but the email will NOT contain the contents of the RFE.

RFEs are officially issued via postal mail.

as to 'how to submit documents in response to an RFE' - follow the directions in the postal letter !

[usually though, it's a postal-submitted response]

sorry, i confused myself, not catching rfe at nvc, thinking instead this was an rfe at USCIS.

The petitioner will receive, via email, a checklist letter.

There are instructions in that checklist letter.

Follow them exactly, including 'how' to submit the stuff asked for in the checklist letter.

Good Luck !

please follow the advise you have been given above....when you get the checklist they will send you read what it says to do and do exactly what is says. Every case is different and the letter you will receive from the NVC will tell you how you can submit the missing information. You need to wait to get the checklist from the NVC and do EXACTLY what it says. Nobody here will be able to help you...only you can help yourselves by following the NVC checklist when you get it from the NVC.

Hi,

  1. WAIT for the PINK RFE letter to come in the mail box.
  2. Make copy of the PINK RFE letter for your file. Because you have to mail the pink letter back with the requested contents.
  3. Read it, follow what the instructions say and what they are requesting for
  4. Assemble the required information
  5. DO NOT LOSE THAT INFO!
  6. MAIL the package within deadline as found in the PINK RFE letter.
  7. Use Tracking and Confirmation services.
  8. Wait for further instructions from them.
  9. Sit and wait.

I hope this helps.

hello, what is the adress of RFE wher should we send missing documents ??the adress will be written in the email that we will be receive from nvc? should we send them by email or postmail?

They will send you the letter (RFE) by postal mail informing you what document/s they request from you and the address where you have to send it back to. Follow the instructions of that letter. Always make a copy and / or scan (for your records) that RFE letter and the documents you will mail to them.

please, if it occurs at NVC, it's a checklist letter sent via email to the petitioner.

if it occurs at USCIS, it's a Request for Evidence (RFE) thingie in a I-797C formletter sent out via postal mail to the petitioner.

Don't mix the labels, aye?
