Just got married for the first time in June and I was 21 and he was 24.

We young people don't say anyone is too old to get married so please don't come on here and say "I got married when I was 21 and I was way too young". I won't attack you and don't attack me.

Why would us old (hehe) people say anything? Just because it is young for some of us doesn't mean it is for everyone. I have known people in their 30's that weren't ready for marriage and others that were 17 that were...thats how old my dad was when he married my mom. 57 years and still in love.....beautiful. :crying:

I don't get involved in the millions of debates that happen on this site but one thing that pushes my buttons everytime is when people make generalized comments. I have found that on this site people tend to look at young marriages as "Been there, Done that, I got divorced and now that I am 43(who knows) life is perfect". I just want people to stop making these comments. I have never said "Your too old to get married" so please dont say "Your too young to get married".

So my point is I don't judge you so don't judge me. I personally believe that people that have had multiple marriages know why they have. People have stated the reasons for their marriages and it was in fact very clear that in each marriage they got married for the wrong reasons. I am not too young to be married and I do not need anyone to tell me that.

Reunited and it feels so good ....

OOOOKEYYYY....sorry if I offended you, I hadn't read anyone here saying that anyone else was too young, just themselves.

How is that in ANY way "attacking" someone? If someone gets married at 18 then says that THEY married way too young, how is it your right to tell them they aren't allowed to say it?

The reason "you young people" don't say that anyone married too old is because time travel is not yet possible. Ergo, you can't jet back in time and post at age 21 that your getting married at 42 was way too old.

If you consider someone saying that they personally feel that they married too young to be an attack, then you obviously:

1) haven't been on the internet much

2) don't want to allow people to have their own opinions

3) or for those people to be able to state their opinions freely.

Did anyone on here say that YOU were married too young? No. So why the need to get all bent out of shape and snotty about it?

BTW, BOT: 38 and not married yet. If the London Embassy people ever get off of their lazy a$$es, I'll be married before I hit 39.

(Yeah, I know....this is in MENA. Didn't notice that until I'd already written the post, though.)

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
