Bill Kristol has been recognised as America's leading neo-conservative intellectual for some time now. Just because you don't know who he is doesn't mean his opinions don't carry considerable weight.

His opinion does not carry any more weight than any other talking head, and yes I never heard of him. Hardly news.. Now if Bohner said we must raise taxes on the rich that would be huge news. Get a flat tax with no deductions and we are done.

I just don't understand why an across the board tax cut is categorized as a tax cut for the rich. Why not call it a tax cut for the poor. If we raise taxes across the board will it be a tax increase on the rich only ? Everyone should pay thier fair share but lets just be honest. The Tax cuts passed under Bush and extended by Obama, where not a tax cut for the rich only but for all.
