==Philippines related issue==

Hi guys I have been having sleepless nights cause I sent my missing documents around October 31 due to the holidays the courier named 2go told me that they will ship it on Nov 5. Now I have the receipt consignment note with a tracking number and I have been trying to track the document on their website but it says "invalid". I use my passport number and case number both says invalid. I know it will take time for the AP thing to go but I just want to know if my documents were received to begin with.

I would be happy with some help... thank you.

Along with calling the embassy I would think you could check the status of your passport on the embassy website, that may tell you if they received the documents also.

Embassy (Manila) Phone Number (and email)

(632) 301-2000, extension 5184 or 5185 (local number: USEM 301-2000 loc 5184/5185 call them around 3-4:30pm)

** (214) 571-1600 or (646) 254-3546 (these are USA numbers)

NEW EMAIL ADDRESS

In order to serve our visa applicants more efficiently, we have created this new e-mail address: IVMNLAppointments@state.gov , for early appointment requests and visa scheduling issues. Please note, however, that early appointment requests will be approved on a case to case basis (i.e., aging out cases, or in cases involving personal or medical emergencies), and only if visa interview slots are available.

For other immigrant and K visa concerns, please send an e-mail to IVManilaReplies@state.gov

.

To enable us to electronically sort the messages and provide better, more timely responses, you should follow the instructions below.

The subject line of your email should indicate the visa applicant's last name, first and middle name (ex. DOE, John James), case number/USCIS receipt number, visa category and priority date.

Messages should be limited to 500 characters or less. The mail size should not be more than 15 KB.

Do not submit documentation or attachments with your message as our system is unable to receive inquiries with attachments.

Do not send your inquiry more than once as duplicate inquiries will congest our system and delay our response time.

Knowing how 2Go works (or any courier service for that matter), sometimes their tracking information slips through the cracks and the information could very well be received in advance of any notification. I can't count the number of times I've sent or received packages from 2Go, UPS, etc. that would either not show tracking information or would be showing as "leaving" when it's already arrived where it needed to go.

Call 2Go first to confirm if the tracking number is correct, and if you could get an update on the status. If it is at least shipped, confirm the approximate timeframe for delivery. Once that date is met, call the embassy and verify it was received.

As for the embassy itself, don't be timid in dealing with them. It's not like you're demanding for an approval or anything, you are simply wanting to comply with their request for documentation and want to be assertive that they have received those documents. At worst, it hasn't arrived yet. They're much faster to get on the line than the general inquiries phone number (most of my calls last more than 5-10 minutes, and that's even when dialing in), so just make the call and get your answers. It may not be the one you want right away (ie they don't have it), but they do keep records of your calls so you can show that you are being proactive in taking care of their request.

I'm a taxpayer, so the Embassy employees work for me, and I give you my permission to call them any time you want. B-)
