I can see how someone sporting a flag from Belarus would be intimidated by a Canadian flag. Canada is much more conservative than Belarus. Ofcourse everyone knows that Belarus is the former Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic (BSSR).

Holy smokes, you are right! I just checked her US PASSPORT and it says her place of birth was "Ukrainian SSR"
