I didn't put anything on "If your fiance is currently in the U.S., complete the following:" because he's not currently in the US. We didn't write N/A or anything, just left it blank because it says "If your fiance is currently..." Is this a problem? I figured they would know he isn't in the US if we didn't "complete the following". We have already sent the petition in.

I put N/A as I did for other areas that were non applicable. At this point I would do nothing and wait to see if you receive a RFE (request for evidence). I would think you will not have any problems but do not know for a fact. I have read on VisaJourney that if you try to send in additional information/corrections after you filed the paperwork is not the best thing to do. First is they would have to try and find your paperwork. Everyone on here always says wait for a RFE. If the service center needs/wants something they will let you know.

You cant leave any question blank. If it doesnt apply then you need to say so N/A. More likely you would receive an RFE for it

Like aws&ndd said, you can NOT leave any question blank. When a question does not apply to your case then you have to write "N/A". If you leave the question blank they may think some info is missing or something.

Great... Do you guys really think I will receive an RFE for this? I mean we have a supplement page showing what dates he's been into the US and his entire copied passport is in the package which shows that he is not in the US now. Plus, my entire copied passport is in there which shows that I am in Hungary now with him.

You may receive an RFE, it all depends on the USCIS adjudicator that reviews your petition. The I-129F instructions are pretty clear, from the page 1, General Instructions:

"3. Answer all questions fully and accurately. State that an item is not applicable with "N/A." If the answer is none, write "none.""

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf

The general forum advice when completing any of the forms involved in these immigration processes is to NOT leave any question blank, to avoid an error of omission.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)
