Also you might want to consider to start using a phone company that gives you a printout of the calls you make to Mexico. The calling cards are good but they will not show proof that the calls were made to him. I use uniontelecard.com but there are many out there. Even your mobile phone company may have cheap service to call Mexico and then the calls are documented when the time comes. I know Metro PCS and Tmobile have programs and I am sure many others do too.

My phone company only has calls to landlines and he only has a cell phone. And as much as I would like a better phone company I know it would be a lot more expensive than phone cards. I know I'm sounding whiney I don't mean to.

Alexxas,

At this point you only have to prove you have met face to face at least once in the two years prior to filing the I-129F form. The proof of on going relationship will come into play during the interview process. That my friend will not happen until months after the I-129F form is filed as we all have a long waiting period. Question 18 on the I-129F form tells you to describe the circumstances under which you met. You also need to include the proof you met with your I-129F package. Mind you I am new at this process but this is what I have read on VisaJourney plus other web sites. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help.

From my experience proof at the interview is too late, they have already made thier decision before you walk through the

consulate doors. It's best to have a lot of proof when you file, good luck!

If you are going to use phone records as proof of ongoing relationship and you need to buy calling cards use a company that lets you register an account with them and keeps a log of your calls. I buy my cards at www.alliancetelecard.com and I can put my husband on speed dial and recharge my phone card online. So maybe you can google prepaid phone cards online and see who gives you the best rates to Mexico and also provide you with access to a printout record of your calls.

If you kept the empty calling cards you could send them in with dates and times you called. Me and my wife used Yahoo Messenger to talk so I would just save the messages and then print it out after. We didn't get to talk on the phone much cause using the computer is alot cheaper.

Yes she could do that but the problem with that is there is no way to show you used those cards to call your SO and they could come back and say the cards are no good because it comes from an unverifiable source.

hello,Please do frontload your packet. As to your phone card issue, you may be able to contact the phone card company directly via the customer service number on the back of the card and ask them for your call records. If that route is not possible then include your call log and highlight call details, every little bit helps. Can your fiance get his call records?

Oh BTW please don't show western union transactions  .However,You may also want to include a copy of the birth certificate of your child.Try looking in your portal for specific details on your embassy.Good luck on your journey.

I agree about the Western Union transactions. Most embassy's frown on the women send money to the man especially the Mena and third world countries.
