I photocopied the envelopes of letters and cards she sent to me (holidays and birthdays etc). Chat logs and even the used calling cards I submitted. I kept the USPS receipts for small boxes I sent her.

All these and I am sure others can show a continuing relationship.

Hello you guys.

What else can you use for proof. We have facebook msg. But there from january to April. Then I just have text messages between then and now.

I use phone cards when I call him because I have a cheap phone company.

Welcome to the forum.

Take a look at the great examples at the forum's step-by-step K-1 visa guide, easily accessed by hitting the "Guides" button, located at the top of the forum page.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Alexxas,

At this point you only have to prove you have met face to face at least once in the two years prior to filing the I-129F form. The proof of on going relationship will come into play during the interview process. That my friend will not happen until months after the I-129F form is filed as we all have a long waiting period. Question 18 on the I-129F form tells you to describe the circumstances under which you met. You also need to include the proof you met with your I-129F package. Mind you I am new at this process but this is what I have read on VisaJourney plus other web sites. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help.

Thank you. I wasn't sure at what point that came into play. I thought it was including in the first package you send in.

You can - it's called "front loading" your petition.

Also, having a child wont impact your petition , just make sure you include your child in the petition of your child is planning to also immigrate.

Are you the USC? If you have a child together that is great proof and maybe you can show receipts of things your SO has bought for your child also. cards and letters, pictures and airline boarding passes.

The main thing right now is the proof that you both have been at the same place at the same time together at least once in the past 2 years from the date you filed.

Also has he ever been to the USA? If he has entered the USA without inspection at any time you might want to consult a lawyer before filing because he could has a ban placed against him for a period of time before he can enter again.

Also you might want to consider to start using a phone company that gives you a printout of the calls you make to Mexico. The calling cards are good but they will not show proof that the calls were made to him. I use uniontelecard.com but there are many out there. Even your mobile phone company may have cheap service to call Mexico and then the calls are documented when the time comes. I know Metro PCS and Tmobile have programs and I am sure many others do too.

you can always show receipts if money was sent to your fiance. Like western union receipts.

Be careful. Showing receipts of money sent to your fiance could be a double-sword. Depending on the interviewing embassy/consulate and consulate official, it could be interpreted as providing money for a spouse and/or family, thereby rendering you ineligible for a fiancee visa. :o

Good luck on your visa journey.

Yes I'm a USC so is my son. Me and my fiance have been together almost 7 years and the last 3 he's been in Mexico. I'm also using a lawyer. At this point I know it can get pricey but I think its for the best.

I have thousands of pictures of us

I have western union receipts. Bunches of texts

I haven't even started the process and I'm feeling over whelmed
