Issue with medical appointment.

Hi, the beneficiary recently had a medical appointment for November 14th 2012. She called today to ask if everything was ok for that day and a lady said that the doctor would not be available that day due to maybe a 'medical congress, or conference'. The lady set another date for the medical for November 21st 2012. The lady said that it is fine to go to the interview on November 19th 2012.. without going to the medical first. She then said that the beneficiary will go to the medical appointment on the 21st and then give the results to the embassy on the 22nd. This lady said that she worked for/with the embassy.. and said to give her name to the people at the interview and that it would be alright. Does this sound legit? I emailed the embassy but I am waiting for a response. Thank you for reading.

I've heard of people having their medical afterwards, I assume it will be OK, but hopefully you will hear back from the embassy for confirmation.

More than likely your case will just be put in administrative processing until the medical is received. But like other member said all you can do now is wait and see what the Embassy has to say. As this should not cause a denial for not having the medical when it was not your fault.

More than likely your case will just be put in administrative processing until the medical is received. But like other member said all you can do now is wait and see what the Embassy has to say. As this should not cause a denial for not having the medical when it was not your fault.

I thought the same thing, the lady on the phone said it was their fault not our.. we set the appointment at least 1 month in advance. She also gave us her name to tell them at the Embassy on the interview date. I assume they work directly with the embassy since this was one of the two recommended by them.

They will give her an appointment to come back with her medical packet to complete interview.
