We got the I-129F receipt on 06/25 in the mail. Can we contact the USCIS now to see what's going on with the file? We didn't receive any more letters since then, and the status online still says Initial review. I am counting on VJ to suggest what I should do to get this going. This waiting is killing me.

Unfortunately you have more waiting to do! You havent reached 5 months.I am not sure where they are at with K1 but they are taking at least 6 months to process CR1's and K1's usually take longer. There is nothing anyone of us can do except wait!!

I am a May filer NOA1 is May 8, but until now I have been waiting patiently for the NOA2. The wait is taking us forever and we have no other choice but to wait:)

Can he call even not in 5 months? Fiance visa should be quicker than married ones.

He can call. However, it will likely be an exercise in futility.

OP:

It sounds like you are still in the "waiting" window.

:time: It helps everyone understand where you are in the process. Additionally, VJ will then be able to provide you when an estimated processing date.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)
