NO. The K1 visa is only for fiance(e) of a US Citizen.

You need to be on Permanent Residence status for at least 5 yrs to quality for Naturalization (considering you never left the country). Once naturalized then you could petition your fiance

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

As of now, you cannot file a K1/fiancee petition for your girlfriend. Only a US Citizen is allowed to file that. Since you only received your green card last April 2012, you have a long wait ahead of you before you qualify for Naturalization (US citizenship).

What you can do now is go to your girlfriend's home country and get married there. Your wife will be under the F2A category (Spouse of a Legal Permanent Resident). Total waiting time for that category is at least 2 YEARS.
