Hello All,

We are currently awaiting word from our I-130, which was sent to the London Embassy. I'm wondering, once we are (hopefully) approved and are able to schedule our medical, do they give you one specific date in which you must go to London for the medical, or do you have options? We are trying to plan a 3-4 day holiday in Jan/Feb, which is when I suspect we may need to do our medical, and I didn't know if I should just not plan the holiday, so as to leave our schedules completely open. Can anyone advise?

Totally flexible and you pick the date, depending on availability of course. There is usually no long wait to get in. Most get availability within a few days. I remember one that had to wait two weeks to get in. They will want your LNDxxxxxxxx case number when you call for an appointment. And you will take your police certificate to show at the appointment, so order it if you haven't already.
