NVC Received : some dinkelsberry yehoo in the house of clingons send our petition to the wrong consulate.

Consulate Received : July 30,2014 Transfer to right embassy complete.

Interview Date : Oct 22, 2014

Interview Result : AP , requesting another PC (not expired) and certified divorce decree (was submitted)Stokes interview via phone for petitioner 4 hrs after interview.

Oct 23 email notification visa approved.
Visa Received : Nov. 3 , 2014 VISA IN HAND.

US Entry : Nov. 21, 2014

Marriage : Dec 27, 2014

AOS send : May 12, 2015, received May 14, 2015 USPS priority

July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.

AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

Add Africans to that ! We were stuck in AP for 16 months and then refused and returned. If anyone knows how hard AP is...I do.

I can tell you right now the reason for his AP is because he is from the middle east. What country exactly? You are being very vague, thus it is difficult for anyone to help unless you give more info about where he is from exactly. The fact of the matter is, like it or not men from the middle east get AP, it just is. my husband had it as well.

The fact of the matter is, like it or not men from the middle east get AP, it just is. my husband had it as well.

He was born in Saudi Arabia, but he is not a Saudi citizen, he is Palestinian. He spent several years in Lebanon as well before moving to Italy for work. I understand that his background may be causing this but now it has been 6 months and we have been given no answers. I have been very complaint with every request for information and now the Consulate does not respond to me at all. I generally make an inquiry once a month. I have also noticed that they never request information from me unless I first initiate and inquiry. The request is always made in response to my inquiry so it makes me feel as though our case is only being looked at when I ask about it.

I have been very complaint with every request for information and now the Consulate does not respond to me at all. I generally make an inquiry once a month. I have also noticed that they never request information from me unless I first initiate and inquiry. The request is always made in response to my inquiry so it makes me feel as though our case is only being looked at when I ask about it.

I have been reading other threads on the site about AP. Many people say that their beneficiary's passport was taken at the time of interview and given back to them at the end of AP. My husband was only asked for his passport to get into the consulate and when his interviewer first saw him and it was given back to him. Is this a bad sign or does it mean anything at all?
