DS-230 questions

I am filling out the DS-230 with my husband and I have a few questions.

1. Are we supposed to translate previous employer and schools attended? For example instead of saying "Lycée" in French should we put "High School" in English? Also in regards to diplomas, he most recently got an "attaché commercial" diploma, which is basically like a 2 year technical degree in sales, but we really don't have an equivalent in the US, so would it be best to put it in French?

2. For employers/schools in regards to the "LOCATION" box - should we put just the city/province/country or do they want the full addresses of employers/schools?

3. If there are gaps in employment - for example, self-employment for a while doing odd jobs (but not declared), should we put self-employed? Or nothing at all, since it was't declared? What about medical/accident leave for several years? Should we put that down or just nothing at all?

1. Put in French, it will be fine. Put a quick description in English if you want.

2. City, Province, Country will be fine too.

3. Just list his past employments. It doesn't matter if there are gaps.

All those questions are not major questions, so just try to make it simple and clear.
