Hello,

My mother received her green card through EB-2 category, chargeability mainland China. After receiving her green card, she helped me file for follow to join through consular processing so that I can use her priority date rather than wait in line all over again.

Since we are Canadian, my consular processing is at the Montreal Consulate in Canada. As of yesterday, I have received my green card interview date for 11th December 2012. (Everything at NVC and all the documents have been approved and process) We were just waiting for our priority date to be current.

Currently, I'm in the US working on a TN visa. I will need to go back to Montreal to get my medical examination from an approved doctor. It takes three business days to get the results. My question is, can I travel to Montreal, and come back to US to work on a TN visa? In other words, will the border patrol let me back into the US on a TN visa while I wait for my interview date?

Thanks for all the help.
