Hi, I'm new to this so thought I would try my luck....

I just entered the USA a couple months ago. Married to a US citizen for the past three years. I recieved my green card.

My husband told me I can apply for my citizenship 90 days prior to being here for 3 years.

My question to you guys is...

How long before I can petition for my mom, residing in India?

Should I wait for for my citizenship or apply now?

And how long would the wait be?

You can only apply after you become a US citizen. A green card holder cannot file for a parent.

Once you become citizen you can apply for your mother. it will take about 8-10 months to complete whole process.

Thank you.

ONe last question. How long would it take to apply for my adult unmarried siblings?

That is once I become a citizen?

It takes about 11 t0 12 years for a US citizen to petition for a sibling. Age and marital status does not matter. There is only one category for siblings.
