Hey,

So guys I just got the appt letter from NVC. I'm scheduled for December interview. I am so excited! I thought I was gonna be scheduled for January interview. Thanks God! It took about 3 1/2 months to get the NOA2, then four months in NVC. I've waited too much. It's not over yet, but I feel it'll be soon. I just wonder how I can know whether my case will need AP after I get interviewd coz I heard that many people need administrative processing. I mean how do the CO decide that the paperwork needs AP or let me pay Aramex to get the visa in a few days?

Thanks

Congrats and good luck to you, AP is needed at times to run background checks but that shouldn't worry you at this point

Hey Congrats my husbands case just closed on November 6th..I am here in the states I came home to have the baby cause being a veteran I get coverage for health insurance etc..My question to you is when did your case close at the NVC and how long did it take before you got scheduled after your case closed for the interview..I am also worried about the AP in Jordan I am sending my husband with all the documents again that way if they ask for something that was with the NVC but the NVC did not send them he will have it we are trying to make sure we avoid any possibility of AP our son is 5 1/2 months old and has not met his father yet...

Congratulations!

you won't know about AP until interview day, but even then, sometimes one isn't told about it.

For clarity, about 2 days after the interview, call into DoS Hotline, ask for casefile status, asking specifically 'Is my casefile in administrative processing?'

Good Luck on the rest of it, and congratulations for getting an interview date !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hey

I have no idea about the AP. My case got closed there on Oct 23rd and got the appt letter on Nov 9th. I think you should receive it by Nov 15th coz NVC just schedules interviews in the first 2 weeks of every month I think.

Good luck
