Yes.

The $340 is the petition fee paid to USCIS for adjudicating the I-129F petition.

After the I-129F is approved and sent overseas to the consulate, you'll be paying a $240 fee to the Department of State (via the consulate) for the visa itself. There will also be a fee associated with the medical exam, paid directly to the medical center.

After arrival on the K-1 and marriage within 90 days of arrival, you'll need to file the I-485 application to adjust status. Fee is $985 + $85 biometric fee = $1,070.

Two years after the green card is approved, you'll need to file the I-751 Petition to Remove the Conditions of Residence. Fee is $505 + $85 biometric fee = $590.

You're just getting started, my friend.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

And the cost of the police report for the interview.

Fair point, though not every country charges for those. In any case, we're talking minimums. The moral of the story, as A&B stated, is that this process is not for the faint of heart or tight of wad.

It's country-specific. For the Philippines, the visa and medical fees were paid in peso only in the country at prevailing exchange rate.

Thanks for your comments!! Can the $240 for the visa be payed in the US?

Some consulates allow you to pay online, so the USC could do so from the US. Here is the info for your consulate. If you do not find the answer on that page, it has the consulate contact info so you can ask them directly: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Panama&cty=Panama

Just want to let you know that if you change your profile/timeline to show your correct service center, Vermont, then you will get a more accurate estimate of when your petition will be adjudicated. Petitions are mailed to the Dallas lockbox, which is not the Texas Service Center. The TSC does not process I-129F petitions, only the CSC and VSC do.

Also, if you put your signature in an actual signature setting through your profile, then it will automatically be at the end of all your posts without having the whole thing appear each time someone quotes one of your posts. Click your name, then settings> profile> change signature.

Will the Fee for AOS be the same for my fiancés 3 kids as well?

After arrival on the K-1 and marriage within 90 days of arrival, you'll need to file the I-485 application to adjust status. Fee is $985 + $85 biometric fee = $1,070.

So would this be x4??
