I am trying to schedule my husbands medical in Santiago, and since we are from conce, I was wondering if we would need to go to santiago 2 veces, or if we could do it in a matter of a couple days. Por si acaso, our interview is on a wednesday.

I understand that Dra. Gail only works fridays?

does either doc give you a vaccine record? I understand you will need this later.

also, if there were any papers I should bring to the interview? i know most people say bring everything, but any santiago specific tips?

THANKS!!

Hi Jessica:

Fuimos a Dra.

I suppose you could pick up your results the same day or visit that you go to Santiago for the interview.

For the vaccine record, the Dra. can sign a paper, verifying your husband's vaccine if he has his record to show her. We had to go to Hospital Salvador to get 2 vaccines for my husband since he didn't have a record.

And for the interview, we brought everything we ever sent, for the i-130 and the visa. I made sure to have the originals of things I had only sent copies too. They didn't ask to see anything though. The interview was very fast, easy and relaxed. The employees are very nice. Don't stress out about it.

cualquier duda, pregunta nomás!

2 weeks! good to know! the secretary made it sound like it could get done in a couple days....according to the embassy´s page, she is there lunes and martes, but the secretary told me just friday. I do know that she recently had a food operation, broke her foot, etc something of the like, so maybe she is laying low. i will be calling back to get more info.

yeah, my husband can´t get his vaccine record anymore, so we´ll be from scratch. which 2 vaccines were they?

I know it´s cash up front, but I was wondering if I could take the boleta to my isapre later and pedir un reembolso? I haven´t heard of anyone doing this, but maybe? I sure as heck am going to try.

awesome, thanks! my hubby was previously denied a student visa by a very rude CO (literally told him there was no reason for him to be applying to the program, he´s a chef, why would he need more school?) so we´ve both been kinda traumatized, lol..grax por los conesjos!!
