Hi VJ friends, I'm kinda bombarded by many problems or confusion on my petition status, because may mom who is a resident petitioned me and sent me this form I-797, there's a priority date indicated there, at first I believed that I'm under F2A because that's what the form said but since I aged-out already I was transferred to F2B (again, from what I believe), and now I checked my status at a certain USCIS status check and it said that "we mailed you a denial decision notice for this case", but my mom didn't know also that its not the final decision yet so all of the sudden we believed that we will just have to wait for the PD to be current but the case now is that my petition is denied? Please someone kindly enlighten me on this and what are the necessary steps the we should or may take to clear everything up. Thank you so much for your responses.

God Bless.

Peace.

Your mother can make an INFOPASS appointment with USCIS. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis

Tell her to bring every document and form she has regarding your petition so she can clarify with an immigration officer the status of your case.

Good luck.
