SENIOR member if petition file nnder f2b category then USCIS How much time will take for petition approval..??? Tell me the average petition approval time? and then NVC send COA..

To Answer your questions about processing times at USCIS we would need to know which office houses the case i.e California? Vermont etc? they are on two different schedules as Cali is stuck processing 2010-Oct files while Vermont is 2012-Jan. recently - there was an update with cases being shifted / transferred within the dept. to avoid excessive processing delays.

once the case it at the NVC you should expect no communication about the case for a few years. currently, they are processing cases in 2004. for a case being filed today and with no changes to the # of visas being issued you can expect a 8 year wait.
