1-Is it a positive sign that embessy taken oath and my finger prints but they returned my passport?

This is done for everyone going through an interview. They returned your passport because they do not currently have everything

they need and AP can take a while. This is not a bad sign at the moment.

2-After submission of above documents how much time they can take for AP

AP can be anywhere from a few weeks, to a few months... a year - there is no way to determine this. Patience is a virtue :star:

3-Is it advisable that i can call my wife and child in kingdom to live with me since i heard that AP might take weeks, months or year

This will be up to you and your financial situation. I believe she needs to have/keep a residence in the US during this time.

4-Can i inform US embessy formally through email when my wife join me in kingdom?

Sorry - this I do not know.

5-can i travel out of kingdom if AP is underprogress?

Not to the United States, no as you will have no visa.

6-If the case prolongs, is embessy can again ask for police clerance certifcates or medical?

Yes. They can require anything that has expired. My husband had to turn in a total of 3 police certificates by the time ours was

all done.

Just get them back what they requested ASAP and the rest is the waiting game. I hope it gouse quickly and smoothly from here forward!

1. What they asked you are very basic common documents that you should have submitted when your wife applied for you. NVC stated that they wants sponsor recent tax return, W2, employement letter (optional) and recent paystubs. These things are very basic things that they should have submitted unless they did not follow any instructions given on I-864.

2. If you submitted the police certificate already, Embassy will not ask you for it again so relax but if you did not submit it then its time to get one.

3. Your AP is different, they have not put you on background check, its just you're missing documents so as SOON you submit those to Embassy and keep in touch with them, your visa will be issued as soon as they process it.

4. Just because you did oath and have done visa, dont get excited. They had to conduct your interview either now or then when you submit docs so they did yours now and you are not the only one. Everyone goes thru this. They called you becuz they want to interview you and if youre missing any docs they will tell you and if you r not then you're good to go and visa is issued on tne spot.

I say its your wife's fault of not providing all docs to NVC and then it is also NVC's fault for not doing their job properly. If NVC would have paid attention, they would have notified your wife to supply them with missing docs but they did not do that and send your case to embassy which scheduled your interview

I beg to differ here. By the time my husband went to his interview he had to provide a new police record that day because the one that went to the NVC had expired. Once he had his interview and we had our issue of his being marked as not showing up all cleared up, etc... by the time they went to print the visa they called and requested a new one as the one from his interview had expired. They did in fact request a police certificate after one was provided at the interview. If it expires - they will ask.

Thanks for your time and valueable answers.

1-Actually during interview they asked about my sponsar current salary and his employer name. But i could not answer these questions.Futher officer told me we need your sponsar documents so that we will review these documents and if not fulfilled our requirments then joint sponsarship may required...........

2-Yes i already submitted the policer clerance certifcates and officer did not asked me to submit these documents again.

At the end of interview officer returned my original birth certifcate & orignal marriage certifcate.

3-Yes i will submit all the documents what officer requested.

4-okz.after submission of requested documents i ll pray for my visa at earliest..........

Actually i had provided 4 police clerance certifcates (since i lived in four areas.03 in my home country and 4th in kingdom) with following date of issuances:

1-17-JULY 2012

2-10-AUG 2012

3-04-SEPT 2012

4-08-Sept 2012

so all above certifcates were not expired at the time of interview since my CR-1 interview was in first week of NOV 2012.
