HI there:

Im a F1 student, i married a USC couple years ago, and last year we filed 130 & 485 together, and attened our first STOKE interview, which means i and my wife were seperated when we were asked questions, the interview took 3 hours and all of our answers matched, the IO took my I-94 away and smile to me, i think i got approved, but after 2 weeks i got letter which said request for evidence, we dont have too much evidence to show and finally it got denied, and we appeal to BOA after 5 months i got the letter said my 130 APPROVED, and now i filed another 485 and waiting for interview, i and my wife dont have any criminal records and all documents are good, everything is good now, MY QUESTION IS for the current 485 interview, is it just a regular interview or it will just like the first one (STOKE), because the I-130 has been APPROVED, how hard does this interview take? easy or hard?

thanks for helping! very appreciated!

our first STOKE interview > You had your initial interview before this stroke interview? What happened at that time?

appeal to BOA > What happened to that?

Was this approval of I-130 was result of that?

I believe this time they are calling you just to approve your case...

thanks for helping me, the reason why we got STOKE interview is i guess they didnt believe our marriage is bona fide, and i know for many people they got the same interview like me even if it was the first time, i think before the interview they will review all the documents you filed, if your evidence is hot enough, your marriage will be suspected, and they will put your interview in STOKE. for my case i wanna say after 3 hours interview all of our answers were matched, the IO took my I-94 card and smile to me, at that time i thought i passed, but 2 weeks later i got a denial letter by mail, i thought the decision was made by the supervisor, because the IO's work is only for interview, the result would be submitted to supervisor (decision maker), anyway, after 5 months appeal, finally we got APPROVED letter, and my I-130 has been transfer to NVC, and this time is only for the I-485 interview. i have a friend who works in law office, and he told me once your I-130 APPROVED, 485 interview is easy, it will take like 10 or 15 minutes to finish, just ask some regular questions like name address date of birth etc. but i really dont know its true or not.
