NOA1 stands for Notice of Action you will receive two of these. The first one NOA1 lets you know they received your I-129F packet, the date it was received, which service center will process your packet (Vermont or California) and your case number. My NOA1 text and email arrived about 6 days after I sent my packet and I received my NOA1 hard copy in the mail exactly a week after the text and email. When you application is approved you will receive the 2nd NOA which we call here the NOA2.
