Visiting the US on Visa Waiver during K3 Process

Hi everyone.

I'm wondering if anyone has travelled during the K3/K1 visa process. I have read threads where people say it's fine, bring evidence of return/ties to home.

My husband is curious, however about filling out the form for the visawaiver. On it, it asks if you've ever applied for a visa before. I'm assuming he'll check yes, but... he's a bit nervous they'll turn him down at immigration.

Any insight, advice, etc.??

Thanks, as always.

Kristina

It asks if you have ever been refused a visa.

Hi Kristina,

I had the same concerns when I went to visit my husband in September. I contacted the Embassy for advice, check out this post for their response: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry399823

I took all the evidence they suggested and more, but the immigration officer only asked for my return ticket as proof, I even offered to show him all my evidence and he didn't want to see it. He just asked me who I was visiting and why, how long I had known my husband, if I had been to the USA before, and how long I was staying for and that was it!

Good luck with your visit and for the rest of your visa journey!

Andie :)
