Why would you take your husband and your son to your N-400 to the interview? The interview is basically to test your knowledge about US and ask a couple of questions about your life.

It's not always that simple though, Kuka. What if the interview location is known to do same day oath ceremonies - especially if you live far away, or only have one vehicle?

Do you go alone then?

You can, they won't be allowed into the interview with you but they can wait in the waiting area. My husband drove me because I don't drive.
