Does anyone who filed or is filing through Morocco have an updated link or information on the doctors they approved to conduct medical examinations for immigrant visas? I contacted NVC and the link they gave me (http://travel.state.gov/pdf/medical/CSB-MED-MULT-0001-1102.pdf) 1 of the 3 doctors are no longer working with the Consulate (Dr. Alain Guidon), one doesn't answer their phone(Dr. Ambari), and the other one is charging 4,750DH (close to $500 US) for the examination (Dr. Zirari).

I contacted the US Consulate in Morocco and they gave me another link, http://morocco.usembassy.gov/med-exam.html, but neither Dr. Ambari or Dr.El Fihri is answering their phone. This has been for the past 2 days and the calls were made between 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM (Moroccan Time). The US Consulate stated that the link was updated but when my husband called the doctors to get a quote on prices he could only reach the one charging $500 US for the exam. This seems like a lot more than what I've seen reported on VJ.

I just want to make sure we are working with the right names.

Thank you

are u sure about this i think its too much 500 dollars its almost 4000 dirhams

Thank you, maybe he misunderstood 2000 DH for 200 DH. He was pretty surprised by the fee, which is why I'm doing an inquiry. He told me to check on VJ. The rest of the number you stated were the same. So he must have misunderstood.

Which doctor did you use?

Thanks.

they say DR AMBARI is the best one

when is the date of your husband interview

We don't have a date we are waiting for NVC to send it. Our case is complete and we were just trying to get an idea on cost.

My husband was finally able to contact Dr. Ambari who gave him a reasonable price $1500DH.

Thank you all for your responses.

Update - I am not sure how to close these topics but I wanted to thank all that replied and offered suggestions. Being able to get insight on doctors was so so helpful and saved a lot of time. It was pretty painless for my hubby. In any case, we made it through the process the 1st time around and it took about 7 months after submitting our application. My hubby's been in the States for over 7 months now..wow, time goes by fast when you're having fun. We are having an awesome time and thank you all!
