Hi everyone!

I have a tourist visa and I'm planing to spend Christmas and New Year with my husband in US.

My Pd is 12.27.2010 and my case is completed. This is our only chance to meet each other before my interview (around April 2013).

I'm not going to lie about my I-130 at the airport but I'm afraid of being denied.

My question is: If my entry to US is denied, is this going to be a problem for my interview? How is it going to affect my process?

Thank you all in Visa Journey for sharing advices and experiences!

Why should you be denied entry?

You followed the immigration process by the book, are ready for your interview, and would like to spend the holidays with your husband.

You have a valid B2 and there is no reason to deny you entry.

But since you asked, a denial would have zero impact on your immigration case. None.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

For as long as you have a valid TOURIST VISA, you have nothing to worry about,...

and for as long as you haven't done or imported anything illegal through your travel, then again, you have nothing to worry about... Enjoy your vacation, and do bring lots of warm clothing, its getting really chilly here lately,...

Keep safe and Happy trip,...

No worries. As long as your tourist visa is valid, you're good to go.

If the immigration officer asks why you're visiting, just tell him you want to spend the holidays with your husband and after that you'll go back to your home country. :innocent::thumbs:

It is always possible you could be denied entry, particularly if your PD is going to become current while you are in the US and they think you might stay and adjust status. Bring evidence of your plan to return and you should be fine. Even if you were to be denied (unlikely but nothing is guaranteed), it wouldn't matter for your case.
