I still yet to have anyone other than you give me examples, of what Obama has done for minorities than Republicans have not. Because he cares about our issues and cares about our jobs, is an absurd answer.

The hispanics turned out in record numbers like never seen before and it was because of the Dream Act that they did so. The President believes that everyone is equal and has the same rights.

Most republicans believe the only people that matter are rich white folks.

That is enough of a reason for people who are not rich white folks to vote for Obama.

It's a 2 party system. You have to vote red or blue. If you believe the red team are gonna sh*t all over you and look after their rich friends then you vote blue.

It doesn't matter whether you believe that the minorities who voted for Obama did the right thing. They did what they thought was the right thing and they are entitled to use their vote any way they wish. You can dissect it all you want and debate it until your blue in the face (or should that be red) but it won't change the result. Obama still won.

Actually "because he cares" is a perfectly acceptable answer. Most people vote on how they feel about someone, not about how they think about the issues. Its why those running for office have rallies. They tell the people what they want to hear and make them feel good. A big reason GWB won was people felt like they would feel better hanging out with George than up tight Al Gore. I know a ton of people that vote republican not based on any intellectual decision, but because they like blasting liberals, gays, minorities, and all those people that like the democratic party. They prefer to believe they can cut taxes on the wealthy and the debt will go down and their incomes will go up. There is absolutely no evidence you can do such a thing, but they like how it feels to think so. The truth is almost everyone votes based on how they feel, not how they think. And the republican party piss off minorities and women. Doesn't matter if they say they'll do some good for them, and they damn well just might. But they're not going to vote Republicans because too many republicans, and this includes their voters are offending them.
