So I will ask again since not one liberal can answer my question. What specifically is it that Democrats do for Minorities that make them love them.

There are two politically relevant parties in this country. One of the two is looking down on minorities pretending that people belonging to minorities are lazy, stupid, incapable leeches all just out to mooch off the white folk. People of that party do not generally see minorities as "real Americans" but like to characterize them as "others". You can see that ugly attitude in this very thread, in P&R generally and across the entire right wing echo chamber.

Now, the other party works to integrate minorities and accepts them as members of this society that are just as valuable as everyone else. Members of this party believe that minorities are people with hopes and dreams and ambitions and goals and that minorities - just like anybody else - strive for a better life for their children. This party believes that minorities are every bit as American as the rest of the country.

Minorities generally do not feel as welcome in and represented by the former party as they do in and by the latter. It's not hard to see why.

Saying Jobs, Health Care, education etc etc are nice fuzzy general terms. Those are nice generic terms that can be used with no real understanding of the issues. I do live in the real world and have dated several Latino women. Actually uou are the only person that gave one concrete answer. That was that Obama gave the Latino's the dream act. every other response has been, because he cares about our Jobs, or our healthcare.

I still yet to have anyone other than you give me examples, of what Obama has done for minorities than Republicans have not. Because he cares about our issues and cares about our jobs, is an absurd answer.

Why is it so hard to give concrete examples such as,, He signed the civil rights bill into law, He desegregated the schools in the south. I am still waiting.

Mitt Romney's campaign had planned an eight-minute, $25,000 fireworks show to celebrate a presidential victory that never materialized.

The fireworks were scheduled to be shot from a barge in Boston Harbor within sight of the Republican's election night party at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.

Instead, Atlas Professional Fireworks Displays unloaded the pyrotechnics from mortars on the barge and carted them back to company headquarters in Jaffrey, N.H.

A permit filed with the city said the fireworks show could have occurred between 7 p.m. Tuesday, just after the first polls closed, and 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Atlas president Stephen Pelkey tells The Boston Globe the show was designed to be "fast-paced" to cap off the evening, heavy on patriotic colors of red, white and blue explosions.
