Ok Since Technically Homosexuals are not a Minority group, White woman voted overwheminly for Romney and Women voted largely along racial lines.

Hispanics--Agreed. Obama gave them something to get the vote.

Blacks-- Sorry Blacks as a demographic are worse off under Obama in almost every catagory.

Yeah, sorry, I don't come on here much after 4:30 central time.

So black people and latinos showed up for Obama. Why didn't the white people show up for Romney? At the gym, I think I saw Fox News saying that it was only around a 70% turnout for white people. Is that not a problem? Romney could not inspire them enough to vote at the rate that the Republicans expected them to.

I want to be able to choose to get an abortion if I wish. I want other women to have that same right. I want homosexuals to be able to get married. The Republicans don't (and may never) offer those choices. As long as they don't, I would not consider giving them my vote. Until they believe everyone should be treated equally, they aren't worth the time.

So Abortion rights and Gay marriage. The question was what do Democrats do for Minorities., not why you like the dems. All you libs keep telling me Obama is for Minority issues. Abortion and Gay marriage are not minority issues . About 55% of Blacks are not in favor of Gay marriage.

So once again. Why did blacks and Latinos go so strongly for Obama ? Abortion and Gay rights are not the issue. Whites are more receptive of these two issues than minorities.

Can anyone tell me why ?? You are all struggling ?

I assume (and I haven't looked up any stats) that black people vote for Democrats for purely economic reasons. The black population, generally, is poorer than the white population. Why would anyone who is poor vote Republican? The Republicans are viewed as the rich, white guys. Democrats are all about bottom-up economic policies and Republicans are all about trickle down economics. Which one would you prefer if you were struggling financially?

Minorities going to the Democrats happened long before Obama, long before any "DREAM act", long before any of the controversy that you disagree with Obama about. So maybe, just maybe, the blame should be on the Republican party?

Let's make this easy shall we? What can republicans do for the minorities? We know they are against homosexuals, that they are against abortion, and they are not trying to have any illegals(though some employ them on the side) and so forth. Listen to a liberal talk show and listen to a conservative one, it's so obvious it's racist. Just like when people say lets take the country back, from who? Back to the good ole days? Sorry I'm not buying it.

So make a list and show me why we should vote Republican. Since you believe that the GOP really cares about us so much.

No, it has nothing to do with Obama specifically. Like I said, minorities went Democratic before Obama came around. And I mentioned the reason why: generally, economic reasons.
