Republicans admit they're extreme when it comes to immigration. And yet you act like I'm making it up. Cute. :)

So what is it exactly that repubs have done stop immigration. Got any examples or is this more feelings

Republicans are anti-immigration reform. They themselves admit it. Why can't you? Why do you think it's just a "feeling"?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/wp/2012/11/09/immigration-reform-has-clear-support-in-exit-poll/

Why Republicans’ position on immigration is a political loser — in 1 chart

Widespread Hispanic support for Democrats on Tuesday, together with the inexorable shifts in demographics seem to be an impetus for a review of the strategic direction of the Republican Party. For immigration reform, the policy reevaluation appears to be happening in real time.

After all, the national exit poll showed voters still clearly on one side of the debate. By 65 to 28 percent, voters said most illegal immigrants working in the United States should be offered a chance to apply for legal status, rather than being deported.

While the exit poll question doesn’t tap the subtleties of the arguments for and against reform, the top line numbers — along with the 71 percent Obama got from Hispanic voters — appear to have reshuffled GOP positioning on the matter. Wide majorities of Democrats and independents want legal status, as do 51 percent of Republican voters, according to the exit poll.

More than three-in-four Hispanic voters supported a chance for illegal immigrants to gain legal status, including 84 percent of Hispanics who identify as independents.

Sorry I thought you meant legal immigration like the kind my wife did that required us to follow the law and pay the fees

Had I known you meant crossing our borders illegally circumventing the laws of our nation. Commonly refered to as illegal immigration I would have agreed with you. Yes. Pubs. Are against illegal immigration

 What's there to argue about legal immigration? Something needs to be done about illegal immigration. It's going to happen no matter what, and something needs to be done about it. You can't prevent it 100% Sorry it bothers you, but it seems most people agree with people getting a legal shot to stay and contribute to society rather than just deportation. And once again, sorry it bothers you, but Republicans seem to see they need to compromise on the issue and are changing their tune less than a week after the election.

Can you finally tell me why white people didn't come out to vote for Romney the way they guaranteed they would? I've lost track of how many times I've asked.

I am not blaming Obama for anything and have never implied that. I will answer your question when one of you answers mine. What exactly is it that Obama does for Hispanics and blacks that make them support him so overwhelmingly . This is called staying on topic. I will not diverge into something else because non of you can answer. Call me racist call me dumb, try to make this about gays all you want. Until you either answer or just admit you don' t know . Then I am on topic. I get you all think he cares more about them. Got that. I care about I care about the homeless . That is a feeling. I volunteer and head a group to feed them that is an action.

I am looking for action items. Got any ?

P.s. so I am anti immigration now. ? Guess I will tell my wife her aos papers will have to wait ? yes.gifyes.gif You guys crack me up

The answer for the 100th time is that he doesn't act like this:http://www.theroot.com/blogs/elongated-thoughts/post-election-meltdown-mary-matalin-vs-van-jones?wpisrc=root_more_news

1) To be able to obtain health care insurance my family and I can afford

2) To know that Medicare is there for my family and me when we'll need it

3) To make sure we don't get a religious right wing Supreme Court judge appointed who will destroy everything we achieved since F.D.R.

4) To make sure our engagement in Afghanistan will stop in 2014

5) To make sure we don't enter another needless war in Iran

6) To make sure that the richest of the rich contribute what they can easily afford

7) To make sure our kids get the education they really need to compete in the world

8) To prevent another $2,000,000,000,000 being spent on the military, while people go to bed hungry

9) To prevent that rape victims and victims of incest are forced to give birth despite the trauma involved

10) To prevent somebody to become President of the United States who is out of touch with reality and the people.

You gave some really good reasons why you voted for Obama. I don't agree with your assessment that he will get us there and I think Romney would have been better for the country or should I say not as bad. I think they both suck I just think Romney would have sucked less.

A few of these are specific examples although not minority only issues.

Your number 1 is interesting. So how is Obama going to lower the cost of medical treatment in this county.

I don't think we are at 100 yet but you have sure at least 10 times failed to answer the question and tried to diverge from the topic. The question was"What has Obama done specifically" that would make Latinos and Blacks support him in such large numbers. I appreciate the fact that he does not act like a aging political pundit that you don't agree with, but I frankly don't see how this has anything to do with the question that all of you Obama supporters can't seem to answer.

Why would Romney have sucked less? Give me specifics that you love so much. Detail out what his plan was, please?

Why do you think people (not the minorities) did not vote for him?

I thought it was a 5 point plan. Or did he flip flop on that one too?

So you have faith that he would suck less, but you can't say why? Alright then. Interesting plan on your part, I guess.

Can you answer my question?

Why do you think white people did not vote for him the way he said they would?? Is that Obama's fault, too?

I did answer yours. So did others. Countless times. It wasn't what you wanted to hear, but it was an answer.

I'll answer the question for you. He was a sh*tty candidate that didn't stand a chance. And you bought into it simply because he was not Obama. You actually expected him to win. His party actually expected him to win. Despite the evidence to the contrary, you and others were convinced it was going to happen. And it didn't. And now that it didn't, instead of blaming the party that got crushed, you're blaming the party that was victorious. Even top Republicans have come out and said they needed to take a deep look into their party and their stance on important issues because they are LOSING. They lost in 2008, they lost this year, and guess what? To save you some heartache, I'll let you know that they'll lose in 2016 if they keep up the way they're going.

Their ideas are outdated and cater to an America that simply does not exist anymore. Their rich, white, male base is BECOMING the minority. They are losing the women, the immigrants, the youth, the hispanics, the blacks. They are losing ALL of them. Every election, fewer and fewer. While these minorities are growing, they are flocking to the Democrats. Your party needs to figure out why and do something about it otherwise you'll be angry for many years to come.

Their anti-fact bubble has burst. Welcome to the world the rest of us reside in. Change with your country or be left behind. Your choice.
