Got a checklist to fix something on the AOS I-864 12/6 sent in the change 12/7

Based on the check list email I figure it is taking them about 12 business days to do the AOS review (keep in mind that thanksgiving landed within those 12 days so it may be faster for others).

The IV package is 10 business days out as of today so that should be under review early next week I am guessing.

Got this emailed to us today not sure why, any one know if this is just a standard thing they send out?

I-601A Provisional Waiver of Unlawful Presence

This notice applies to you if you are currently in the United States, are or have been unlawfully present

and plan to apply for an immigrant visa at a U.S. embassy or consulate abroad.

Beginning March 4, 2013, certain immediate relatives of U.S. citizens may apply for a provisional

waiver of inadmissibility due to unlawful presence before leaving the United States. For more

information, please visit immigrantvisas.state.gov.

Before filing Form I-601A, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE NATIONAL VISA CENTER (NVC) by

emailing NVCI601A@state.gov. Failure to notify the NVC that you plan to file Form I-601A will delay

your visa application.

Just disregard it. It does not apply to you.

Called NVC today to check on the status and they said that we were case complete Jan 2nd. Also they only schedule interviews the 2nd week of the month (this week)for the next month, hope we get a date or we have to wait until March.

With case complete this early, you should have a February date but it's random as to which day.

ya, the NVC TeleOperators are clueless about the hidden scheduling queue for EP cases headed to Guangzhou IV. EP Casefiles headed to Guangzhou are scheduled in realtime, albeit 5 to 7 working days past final-review timetick.

Jan 2nd, you say? You should have the interview email anytime this week.

Yay ! More Movement ! Sorry about the checklist letter thingie, but ya got that sussed out and fixed..
