Hi guys my fiancee and I had our interview in the last week of October, the consul said our case was legit but we had missing forms such as the affidavit of support and the 1st page of his ITR was missing (I suppose I overlooked it since we didnt expect we'd be using his AOS support forms)..

Suffice to say, the filipino pre-screeener did not accept our co-sponsor, it wasnt the final interviewer who didnt accept it but we were told it shouldnt be included. She gathered our documents and told me that I should keep my co sponsors documents cause it shouldnt be included. I was really annoyed.

When we were being interviewed I was too overwhelmed and scared to tell the consul "what about my fiancee's dad who is supposed to be our co-sponsor/sponsor?" So i didnt :(

Anyway we already sent the documents the consul was asking for. We sent it around October 31. The 2go employees told me that it will be shipped on Nov. 5 since Thurs and Fri was a holiday. It is already November 8 and I can't track my status using ustraveldocs or 2go e-tracking website.

Can anyone help me with this? My fiancee and I said goodbye today I had to go home here to Davao and he to the US. I feel I want to slap myself so I wont cry cause it is really difficult.. :crying:

I was wondering how long until I can see something on the 2go website or the ustraveldocs (putting my passport number on the subject field)..?

Thank you.

What was your fiancé's 2011 income? Did his 2011 income exceed 125% of the poverty level for his household size?

How about your fiancé's current sustained income? Is his 2012 income projected to exceed 125% of the poverty guidelines for his household size?

Is your fiancé self-employed? If so, what is the amount on line 22 of his 2011 federal income tax return?

If the consular officer approves your visa, it's likely you will receive it in another week or two. Usually, you can't track your visa packet until 2GO picks it up from the Embassy. When 2GO picks up your visa packet from the Embassy they text you, and then they deliver it to you within a day or two.

hello tahoma thaks for your prompt response, my fiancee was going to school and only working part time during the time we applied..anyway he received a promotion during the time we were applying for a visa..but we didnt really think we were going to use a lot of his financial papers and stuff..because we intended to use his dad as our co-sponsor.

we had minimal papers of my fiancee (tax form with a missing page and only i-1864 and i-134) and 1040 tax forms plus 864 and 134 of his dad as well as his dads certificate of citizenship. in short i had a lot more financial papers of my fiancees dad because we did fully intend to use his dad as the co sponsor.

anyway what we did was just send the current salary my fiancee was going to have due to his promotion as well as the missing page of his tax form.

do you think the same consular officer will review our case? i am worried and missing my fiancee very badly.

:(

What is the amount of your fiancé's current income when figured on an annualized basis? Is it over 125% of the poverty line for his household size? If so, did you send some of your fiancé's current paycheck stubs to the Embassy? Did you send an employer's letter showing his increased rate of pay?

If your fiancé's income is still below 125% of the poverty line for his household size, I would recommend submitting the joint sponsor documents.

hi hank thanks for the links i will try these now.

hi tahoma no i did not send the joint sponsor documents, we had evidence of sustaining income so it might clash with that, like the consul would think "why would they need a sponsor if there is already sustaining income?"

it was a lot more complicated than i thought..now hopefully i can get some info on my passport.. :(

i at least want to know if the embassy has already received my 2go package i have been using 2go it keeps saying invalid, using ustraveldocs says there is no update on the passport number.

For sure don't muddy the waters with a co-sponsor, if you fiance's income is now adequate and you have provided the evidence needed then just be patient as your review will not be the same as the normal process. I know the waiting sucks, but as we all know... that is a big part of our process.
