Yes, this is a problem. Contact the embassy immediately and let them know about the mistake - they shall correct it once you send them your passport.

I would say it will definitely be a problem at customs.

04/14/2015-Check cashed

06/02/2015-Called Service Center (still no NOA1) Service request found out wrong address on paperwork! :(

06/03/2015-Called to get address updated Ar11 online add change didnt work-got infopass for June 10th

06/10/2015-Went to info pass appt. Hubby got a 1yr. Extension stamp in his passport and biometrics done

08/12/2015-ROC Approved. Got letter in the mail.

08/29/2015-received new card in the mail.

the only problem is that my plane is on 26/11/2012 do you think there is enough time

Call them and let them know ASAP. You will have to send your passport to the embassy and they shall correct Female to Male which required time as they have to prepare and print another visa. Once you recieve your new visa make sure that everything is correct and see if the visa number is the same as the old one bacause maybe it is included in your flight reservation. If the visa has different number and if you provided this information when booking your flight make sure you change the visa number on the reservation.

Emailing them can take 3-6 days to get a response. It is better to call they will tell you what to do over the phone.My husbands name was misspelled and he called to ask what he should do. It will save you time and time is what you need since your flying out the 26th. Good Luck :)
