Requesting Emergency Processing

• A Humanitarian situation.

• Your application was submitted by a nonprofit organization in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States.

• Your application is relevant to a Department of Defense or National Interest Situation. In this case, the request for expedited processing must come from an official U.S. government entity and indicate that a delay will be detrimental to our government.

• USCIS made an error in processing your application.

• Your application represents some other compelling interest of the US government.

If you believe that your situation may meet one of the emergency situations above and you are ready to file your application or petition, file the case by express mail, include the request for expedited processing, and include the supporting documentation. The address for this purpose is:

My ex husband is just resident, 8 month ago i send my vawa but just only the evidences and I-360. In january i send the

I-765 with evidences (shelter,medical bill) i do not have any before aplucacion I-130 and i do not have I-485 becauae hi is only resident

I wrote about my economic situacion i do not have.money and a have 3 kids

Them i send the i-765 ,my letter and some evidences and 2 photos passaport

The last week i recived my permision work with out finger print only my photo

For one yearand it said c9

What do yoh think about my case? I called uscis last friady, and they said me the I-765 was

accept, but the I-360 not yet

cielo as far I understood you obtained a work permit right? well USCIS made a mistake issuing you the work permit, first of all your husband is a green card holder and you can't have an EAD until your priority date is current, second the category they issued your work permit is for US Citizen's spouse(category C) and your husband is a GC holder, and third you can't file for adjustment until the priority date becomes current.It was a mistake and you should contact Uscis.

How come your I-360 wasn't accepted, you submitted 8 months ago then for sure your Vawa was accepted, but your case is waiting adjudication. Did you get a prima facie?

You posted here something regarding "Requesting Emergency Processing" what's the reason for you to request emergency processing?

I have 2 prima face, 8 month waiting for the decision my i360 is not yet approved and i send a letter because i have many economic problem

My ex husband is just resident not us cizen, I cant send my i485

My i360 is not approved yet, but they (uscis) send my a permision to work whit out finger printer

I have.3 kids,we do not have money, house is very poor our situacion just my photo

Now i have permisio work i am looking for job, tomorro i have a interview

Plese help me. What do ?you think

cielo there is no provision in the Immigration Law for a spouse of Green card holder to get EAD before a visa number becomes available. We have here in the Visa Journey some women and they can't work because their husbands are green card holders and they can't apply to get work permit.

I don't believe they sent you the work permit because you have many economic problems,as I said there is no provision in the law for that. We have people here in the visa journey living in shelters and with children and they can't apply for EAD because the spouse is resident and not US Citizen.I am convinced they issued the EAD by mistake,they didn't even set up your fingerprints and issued your work permit using category C9 , but employment category C9 is for people married to a US Citizen and your husband is a green card holder.

Cc1988 you have to file Form I-765 to replace an EAD. Here is what you have to submit to Uscis.

-Write a letter to USCIS explaining how your EAD was stolen;

-Uscis fees or I-912;

-submit 2 passport pictures with the A# and name written on the back(write with pencil your name);

-photocopy of your current EAD as well ;

-copy of Passport (which has Bio-graphic data);

-copy of I-94 Departure Record (both sides);

-Copy of your I-485 receipt notice ;

- certified copy of the Form I-797 D (from last EAD);

Check the box “Replacement (of lost employment authorization document".

Well i only have a copy of the approval notice for my EAD for the year 2013 which expires in October 2013. Could I send that or how do I get it certified?

I got mine rather quickly, on november 27th they issued receipt notice, on december 7th they already mailed it out, 3 days later I had it in my hand!!! I also received a biometrics appointment right away, just had it yesterday. Hopefully that means yours is on the way now too

i filed november 27th also for i765, but until now i havent receive any biometric appoinment its gonna be 90 days on fEB. 28 ...NO EAD yet! ? i always check my case status for i-765 still on initial review. what catgeroy did you use for work permit?

is this a new memorandum? im facing financial hardship too but my lawyer said i cannot expedite my work permit ive been waiting a long time to get ead how come yours are so fast??

Hi, sabdhra last month jan 24th I ask you about my change of address .... So I think u r right I contact with my Attorny he change his office . So when he apply dec 2012 my new prima facie then he send change of his office address also .... That's y message coming on my phone and email . After that last week I got new prima facie also for 60 days . U r really experienced person ... Thanks .... Now give me one more answer I apply my case oct 2011 first week still not any reply .... I-485 also pending .... Ead renew without any problum .... Prima facie new coming for 60 days .,.. So how much time u think he take more ....?

I wrote a letter and add other letter for the shellter, and my daugthers scholl

Copy for some bill and the I-765. Also 2 photo. My ead not have finger print only

have my photo and it said c9 and now i wating for my i360,because is not approved yet.

I have 8 month and 2 prima face.
