sorry Kmenendez about your bad experience in this country with that monster, i wonder why the judge did not give a restraining order or arrest the guy. iam just sad you never lived in the states to enjoy freedom this country offers, Good luck as you start over in Colombia am glad you and the baby are safer now.

I am on removal proceedings n I heard that u can't apply for work permit.its upon judge if he/she wants to give it to us.do u have any criminal back ground

Hi my friends.

Sorry that i didn't post yesterday , I had a very bad day and things got out of control. So I just went to post here to inform you all that my journey end yesterday with my vawa. After what happen between my husband and I ,my friend come to pick me up yesterday and we went to the police station to get a restraining order on my husband. the police officer instructed that i had to filled that with the court, so we went to the court and filled out the paper work and the lady that helped us there told me that she would present it to the judge for his approval or deniel and she would contact me to go back by the end of the day to find out what the judge decided.

So the worse happen the judge DENIED it saying that I had no evidence of violence or that I was in danger of him coming after me. to make it worse when my husband got home and me and the baby was not there, he asks the neighbors if they saw anyone coming to pick me up, and they told him what kind of car come to pick me up, so he knew it was my friend. so he come to find me and was upset by trying to be nice to full my friend and make sure i didnt call the police. So make a long history short, I knew he wont leave me alone and will try anything to hurt me. He was afraid that he would be arrested, so he offer me a deal that he would sign a paper for me to take the baby with me back to colombia,but i Had to leave the country ASAP, I accepted the deal for me and my baby best interest, those that have kids out there knew how important our children is for us and we would do anything to keep them safe. So my friend got me a ticket yesterday and I just make it home to Bogota,Colombia. Thank you all for the support and I wish you all the best of Lucky.

At least here I feel safe with my family and I know he wont put his feet in Colombia because he is afraid of my family.

So sorry to hear that you had to go back home because of that monster. You should have found a shelter. Nevertheless you know whats best for you and your baby. I do believe you can still continue your Vawa case from Columbia. Don't let all your effort go to waste, follow up on your vawa and you already paid your lawyer so don't let your money go down the drain as well. Keep Fighting don't let him believe he won. Happy New Yr when it comes

FILE VAWA SEPTEMBER 15/2011 GOT TWO PRIMA FACIE. TWO WORK PERMIT THEN I GOT APPROVAL ON DECEMBER 26. 2012 YAAA

APPRVAL AT 12:02PM THEN 12:04 TRANSFER TO BENEFITS CENTER THEN SAME DAY AT 3:06 THEY TRANSFER MY I-1485 TO MY LOCAL OFFICE ALL WITHIN HOURS WAITING FOR INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT YAAAAAAA :dance:

i dont have a clue as i know another girl that file on december 2011 and she got approved last september 2012 so vermont is very hard to follow . mine came as a surprise as i gave up hope and was telling my kids am coming home my chrismas was very sad as am alone no family only friends at work i was abused so bad where i dont trust no one i get scared easily dont want friends am just plain scared and when i woke on december 26 th and saw the case updats on my fone as i stop checking for months now i was surprise i crie for almost the whole day but my god is able

they never ask me for ref. i got prima facie then work permit , then they sent me a second prima facie that i never applied for then in november 29, 2012 i got another work permit so no ref. chotalic charities did my application and the lady took my case personal as i was abused in everyway ending up homeless sleeping on the streets as was afraid to call police as i never want to be deported i waas in hospital like 8b times from been beated but never tell them but one doctor got th police involved has my husband raped me in my rear i had to do colonocopy i had restraing order police reports pic so much stuff and we have a case going now where after he saw how good am doing he wanted me back i refused and he kidnapp me and tried to break my neck and people saw me trying to jump out the car, am living and he knows where ilive am not running no more from him as am tired and i know my god that delivered me is the same god thats protecting me happy new year my friend

Finally,..wow sorry to hear that,but you know what,good things comes last.l spent the holiday by myself too.l have never felt so lonely and depressed..am just praying for something positive to happen this year...l dont have family here and have very few friends.very few friends will stick witj you during your hard times but most of them will vanish during those times and come back later when you,re doing ok.so you had police reports and doctors report?did you go for an psych evaluation?

I know, its almost going to a year and no interview, no transfer. Im worried.
