believe, the VSC processing time say June 2011, wondering how you were able to have a July 2011 processed faster than most?

Forgot to post my timeline:

July 2011 - Applied for VAWA with I-765 and I-485 with fee waivers - receipt date Aug 4, 2011

August 10th 2011 - Received NOA's for all 3, fee waivers accepted

August 26th 2011 - Received EAD (never did receive prima facie. I guess they issue the EAD quickly in lieu of prima facie)

Silence for several months

Early July 2012 - Re-applied for EAD based on pending I-485

Mid July 2012 - Received NOA for 2nd EAD

August 1st 2012 - Received EAD (also very quick)

Silence for a few more months

October 26th 2012 - I-360 approval (notice said it was approved on the 22nd)

November 19th '12 - Case transferred

I think there's someone else here with a similar approval and transfer timeline. I don't remember who it is.

There you have it. I did not receive any RFE, and Catholic Charities is my legal advocate.

When you get the rfe and you respond your approval is next. Just answer it and you'll be approved soon thereafter.

Yes I'm happy I got my approval but this waiting is rediculous for a simple transfer

Hope no one else has to wait this long for a transfer. Its the hardest thing when you've been approved but still feels like torture. I was thinking all this would be over by now. Then after my file goes to NBC there's another waiting and then more waiting again at my local office for an interview date. I'm sorry guys for venting here, I'm having one of those rough nights.

I guess it's time for me to finally post here. I've been following this forum for over a year, and am only now compelled to post to help others like me, who've been through the pain and trauma of domestic abuse.

That is so generous of you! Hre is hoping that we could all learn from each other's experiences so that we could achieve our desired results with our VAWA application.

God bless us all.

Nth worse than sending your vawa form and never get an NOA. I think it's because I don't have a proof of my USC spouse but just her SSN n Driver license copy.

Today is exactly 2 months since I mailed the packet.

I should have filed vawa with I-485 to get work permit concurrently.

Now I have to wait till I hear sth back from them about my case, then I can apply I-485.

I have tried emails, phone calls, certified mail, but it just seems like they ignore me :(

Idk how long should I wait?

Yes. Seven freaking month .. still waiting for vsc to transfer my file

loveme you should probably call Vermont and leave a voice message. Your transfer is definitely out of processing time. I was told the I-485's are taking 4 - 6 months to be transferred and processed, and yours is definitely way outside that. Maybe you should even write a letter requesting an update. That way you will have their response in writing. Someone in the VAWA part 2 thread did that to find out the status of his case. I think it was inpeace.
