Wow!! You had alot and they still denied you that you had to appeal?l didnt have much evidence like you...

Smh!!!! Naaaahhh my I360VAWA WAS APPROVED (June 2012)NOT DENIED.

I filed for Motion to reopen with BIA because I missed a court date...

the thing is when I filed for I360 VAWA I was in Removal Proceedings and I missed a court date and the

Judge made a decision (I was not aware of that at the time until I found out by the court number 240 314 1500) if that

make sense!?

Yes stillalive, i'm in TX.I got kind of excited b/c i actually sent in renewal EAD since mine will expire soon.Instead of updating on the renewal EAD, i got the transfer notice instead for I-485.I figured, they thought it will be best to just work on the I-485 instead.But anyhow,i can't get excited too much cos USCIS is unpredictable and they have a mind of their own.I just want to get my ticket on time cos after all this is over, i'm going to chill in Barbados for 2weeks & just relax free of stress & strain.But since i know they already transferred it, i'm going to be calling them often to see if they are working on it & let them know i need something to show to my job until i get an interview date or an EAD card whichever one comes 1st i'm good.I just want to see the end of this long tunnel.

April 2009-Divorced

April 2011-Filed I-360,I-485,I-765(filed few days b/4 divorce was 2yrs which would have made me ineligible)

May 24,2011-RFE(For good faith marriage & Good moral character)

Aug 19,2011-I-485 touched(correspondence from USCIS were returned)

Aug 24,2011 & Aug 26,2011-Attorney called USCIS

Sept 12,2011-Another RFE for I-693 & passports sent

Thanks Guys. Somone and 37shells, did you have biometrics when you applied for your i765? How long after you turned in your application did you get the biometrics appointment and approval of the Work permit? Thanks!

Congrats on your approval! No, I didn't have biometrics for EAD, i have an appointment though for biometrics for my i-485 which I rescheduled and just received a new appointment date. My EAD only took 3 weeks i'm sure yours will be just as fast!

I recieved a denial notice yesterday.

Please don't give up!

Thanks 37shells! So I am assuming it was the passport pictures you sent in with your application that is on your EAD? Was your fingerprint also on the card? I think some jobs ask for EAD with fingerprints as well as pictures so I am curious to know how they got your fingerprints without biometrics appt?

They printed my card with the photo that I sent in with the application, and where the fingerprint goes it just says "fingerprint not available".

Hey guys .. hope you guys holdind up good. My jay I'm so so sorry and sad to hear about your denial. You were one of the ones I had in my prayer. Its heartbreaking hearing this. good news tho! but I guess you live in Texas right!!? after my I-485 has been transferred to NBC, NBC took 5 months to transfer that to the local office and the local office took 3 months to send me a letter for my interview by the way I live in Texas too...

but keep in mind that is my timeline after my I360VAWA got approved, but every case is different may be yours will be faster than mine.
