yagana it sounds he won't go to the interview or he will attend the interview alone,if she fails to go they will start removal proceedings against her.If she has a Vawa case tell her to file Vawa and attend the interview and show them proof that the Vawa was filed.

Donot give up, Lionlion my brother, live like a lion, sometimes I think if we chose another good wife, we didnot need suffer like this, I applied my vawa on Jan22nd 2011, we are in the same timeline, maybe they will deny my case too, although I got MD's report and prescription drug for my depression, who even put it on my SSN and let me go to mental hospital, but I chose go back home alive. I also went to Seattle therapy, paid $700 before I sent my VAWA, they said I got depression for long time before I came to the state. who knows what I got next?

I think you should just follow Sandranj said, she is professional for VAWA defense. Good luck brother, US has justice for all, I keep my christian faith on it.

Sandra, Am not sure if she qualifies for vawa, her husband has not physically abused her, he just wants her to stay and have kids, she cant work, he doesnt want to finish her green card process. he gives her $50 a month to buy her personal needs. her story its really sad. i am not sure if that qualifies her for vawa?

Yagana considering what are you saying she does not have a vawa case.There is a huge difference between an inconsiderate,mean and selfish husband and an abuser. The abuser must degrade,humiliate,isolate,control,inflict mental pain etc... They have a pattern of praise and punishment.They blame the victim for their behavior.It's never their fault.Some husbands are mean,use alcohol or drugs and have a bad temper,it doesnt mean they are abusers.The person abused needs to prove she\he changed due the abuse,the victim became depressed or is suffering from depression or having panick attacks.They fear the abuser.I dont know all the details about your friend it seems she is marriage to a selfish person who doesn't care about her safety.Its time to remove herself from this poor relationship. SOme victims took a while to leave their abuser because the circumstances were beyond their control,but if someone chooses to stay in a relationship just to get a GC then the individual needs therapy to find self respect.

Well said Sandranj, you are right.My case is similar to hers. I met an experienced Vawa attorney and he said I qualify for VAWA. I filed my case this week.

just be strong, you still have another chance to file it

again. please dont go for appeal or motion the best thing to do

Its to take your time and figure out why your case was denied and

come back 2 times stronger then before... and apply it one more time

dont forget you are not the only MALE here! Im too...

Hi guys, my I-485 has been transferred to NBC so i'm expecting my interview notice pretty soon.I'm very excited @ least this assures me that i'll not be waiting long for an interview.

As for my friend who got her receipts & prima facie within 5days of filing I-360,i'll keep you guys posted, she has her interview @ the local office coming up soon.

How is everyone holding up?Loveme,Macbook,Ssisi10,Myjay,gizq,Lorphelpme,optimisticchic etc,how r u guys doing.Keep faith y' all & goodluck to everyone who is waiting for approvals & interviews.

good news tho! but I guess you live in Texas right!!? after my I-485 has been transferred to NBC, NBC took 5 months to transfer that to the local office and the local office took 3 months to send me a letter for my interview by the way I live in Texas too...

but keep in mind that is my timeline after my I360VAWA got approved, but every case is different may be yours will be faster than mine.

Hi everyone, I just wanna know what's the experience after I 360 approved, I sent AOS application 4 months ago and still nothing, on dec 19 is gonna be 5 months, please I hope u guys can share..

Did not ask for fee waiver

Did not send medical exam( hope RFE )

you got to take it easy! if I remember we filed for I360 VAWA in the same time (March 2011) and got approved in the same period (June 2012)but the different is I filed for I485 in March 2012 and you did yours later on in December 2012!

if you check my timeline. he took me 8 months to receive my interview letter...

keep in mind Its my timeline. just wanted to show you thats going on and every case is different.

I've been around here a long time, and got busy in June 2012 after my I360 VAWA got approved because I was working in my case with Board of Immigration Appeals, Im my own attorney lOol crazy right!?? but so far so good Im still Alive and I feel like I have a pretty good idea about what most of youR GUYS are going through or went through.

In March 2011 I sent to Vermont.

Evidence of abuse:

Texts/emails from my wife showing humiliation and financial abuse

Letter from my therapist

Affidavits from 2 friends

My own affidavit

Medical report showing visits around the time of the abuse

Police report one incident at the time of the abuse

Evidence of good faith marriage/joint residence:

Joint rental agreement

Joint bank account

Joint car insurance

Emails during our courtship

LATER ON I RECEIVED AN RFE IN JANUARY 2012 for GOOD FAITH MARRIAGE.

I did reply 2 weeks later with...

• Evidence of marriage.

- Copy of the front and back of my marriage license

• Copies of the Photographs (photo album).

• Evidence of Share Residence.

- Copy of apartment lease contract

- Copy of lease contract amendment
