VSC will transfer the case to your local office. The amount of time it'll take for them to get you in for the interview will depend on how busy they are. You can usually gauge this from the size of your city and the predominant mix of people.

My local office more likely is San Francisco. What city was your local office ? I figured you also applied 485 concurrently with 360 & it took around 5 months for you

to get any news on 485.

You can identify your local office by putting your zip code into https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices.type&OfficeLocator.office_type=LO

Hey everyone

Just posting a little update on my case. I sent a request to VSC on E-request enquire about my case that way over the time line they have at the website. They replied by mail saying " USCSI cannot answer your inquiry "

I also asked for help from Ombudsman’s Office few weeks ago but no answer so far. Today it complete 17 months of waiting.

In few months I come from stable guy running my business and make a decent living to a deep depression and now business is gone and I m living of the money that I saved while running my business and hopefully the friend that took over my business will keep his promises and the contract we did ,that says that I will be receiving money every month from the profit of the business that I pass to him. otherwise In 2 years my savings will be gone and I will have to figure something out. I hope my case can get approved soon so i can get better and start life over.

I hate to think like this but after that guy {singledad} I think was his name here , was going off on me here and picking on me about my case saying that I was not abused because I was a Business Man making an excellent living and my case was not a Vawa case, and all the drama that he create here , that end up with his suspension of the forum. after that my life went down hill ,was getting worse everyday and look where I am now, getting deep and deeper. Guys pray for me , I hate to believe in bad luck but he brought bad luck. Like he did some MACUMBA -Voodoo or something like that.

Dont feel that way PANAMAGUY truth be told SingleDad is entitled to express his views whether we like it or not. Dont accept the negative energy claim your approval look at each day as one day closer thats how I survive each day I smile and say to myself I am one day closer to receiving my approval some their wait is longer than others. I have only made 12months and a week and it feels like 10 years but I am holding on when you pray ask God to touch the adjudicators hands and give him/her a heart of compassion over your case God is seeing your cries and feeling your pain he will not let it go unnoticed.

Panama guy i cant even imagine what you are going through because I was never abused, but I know you are counting the minutes to free yourself from your abuser, but despite singledad opinion about your case I am convinced that in any moment he wished you bad luck or brought bad luck to your life and case. The Bible says the last leaf on a tree will ot fall if it's not the will of God . I believe that luck does not govern our lives. Panamaguy life when something great comes to your life never feel lucky feel blessed.

Panama-Guy do take heart. It is usually darkest before dawn. take a look at your little girls face and find the strength you have in you to fight. Dig deep man, and fight. Reach down into your roots and figh! You can! And you're almost there.

I just checked USCIS website for VAWA and they are processing March 5th, 2012. Seems like they are moving alittle fast smile.png. I applied in December 2012 so i've got some time to wait. Any new approvals?

They are processing cases that were filed before March 5th, so they should start processing yours very soon.
