I know he will never changed its just that his family member keep asking me . The biggest is that I still live in the same house with this crazy guy because I don't have anyway to go with my daughter . Is living in the house with him will caused my petition to be denied. Right now am about to loose it because living in the same house with him is driving me to edge.

If thats the case, why would you want to change your filing status.I am more confused now, with reason because ,how and why are you stying in a house with this abusive man.To the point of tension which can incite more abuse to you and your daughter. This worries me and clearly worries you am sure. Gosh girl , we have to pray and find a way for you to get out.. Arent there any friends , family anybody??? Ill pray for you.Someway somehow somethings gotta give

raga shanti you can go to any shelter for victims of domestic violence.They will treat very well.If you need help finding a shelter send me a PM message ok.They won';t deny your case because you are liiving in the same house.The Vawa Law allows to file Vawa even if you are living with the abuser.

Anajnic I understand what you saying but none of my family members have any space to accommodate me and my child. Right now I have been crying all day because its getting worst or me.

finally26122012 You will find someone who will love you, cherish you, honor you. You were put on this earth to love and to be loved, and you deserve to be in a respectful relationship. The violence you endured was not your fault. You must not allow that your suffering take away your ability to seek love again. Be gentle with yourself, and do not expect it to happened all once. Abusers take away the victims self respect and self image, but you need to understand that you are a human being capable of passing loving qualities to someone, your life is worth it , you are worthy of love. There are many great men out there who will treat you with respect. I am convinced you will find someone kind, compassionate, faithful, reliable, a man who fears God. I found mine you will find yours, just give yourself some time…and a chance,lol

peanutbutter it depends of each local office, some are damn busy and it may take 3/5months, others not even 30 days.
