Yeah my lawyer did do a fee waiver. I wish I knew abt vawa before I hired my lawyer because he's expensive and this seems like a relatively OK paper work process to do independently. But I didn't know much abt it I confined in a friend and she suggested I see a lawyer even though my husband and I didn't put in any immigration papers yet. I wasn't in any rush. He told me I had a winnable case but yet still he's charging me $8500. Its a lot but at the end of the day it will be worthy of the cost. Hez been doing these cases since '97. His office is well decorated with thank you plaques and cards and he's helpful do far. Thank god I have a job and a new born that is helping to make the time seems less stressful.

I know that's y he took my case caz he knew I had all the proof to show Caz when I met with him I had already have a police reported incident and was in my first trimester. Girl its not an easy road but still gotta trad it. God give his toughest battles to his strongest warriors, he uses us as examples to exemplify what glorious works he is capable of doing. I wish I knew abt vawa and this forum before I filed Caz I waited 6 months after meeting with him to file.

I finally took the package with my response to RFE today to my attorney's office! They had received an extension to my Prima Facie, it expires July 5th which is a day after the due date they gave me to respond to the RFE that they sent on April 2013.

Thank You Sandraj for your help I am hopping everything goes very well. I sent proofs of bonafide marriage, some pictures of what I considered moments or details from the courtship. The invoice of our wedding bands, wedding pictures, our child birth certificate, vehicle insurance card with both of our names, mail we received to the home we were renting. I am hoping for the best because some people whose receipts have dates around my date have been approved, I am thinking positive!!! Looking forward!!! My attorney was busy so one of the assistants put everything together and once he reviews it, it will be mailed to Vermont... I will call them tomorrow to see if my attorney gave green light :)

Apple 2013 deferred action means you won't be removed from the country and if u have a pending removal the immigration judge will drop it.

The aos info mean that its transferred to your local office or NBC buy only if you have a pending i485. Your lawyer is a lil naive to the process you will need an i485 because its on that basis that you can adjust your status. My may have approve you with deferred action Caz u don't have a pending i485. Is your husband a lpr or USC?

Thank you howtosurvive.

I filed I-130 and I-485 when I was with my husband. After I moved out and filed vawa. My AOS interview was de descheduled and my I-485 was put into "pending" since then. Since I didn't file I-485 and I-360 at the same time, I was worried my I-485 might be lost somewhere so I wonder if that statement mean that they know where my I-485 located and if I need to do anything to bond them together. Because Sandra said once someone had to wait so long for the interview because Vermont Service forgot to transfer the file.

Hi Sandra

How is everything?

As you know I have been waiting for a long time , i think I m the only one in the Forum that applied in 2011 and still waiting.

What do you suggest for me to do? I have tried everything already.

Congress

Senate

My attorney

I contact USCIS

And always the same answer , " my case is actually pending with a adjucator "

Is there a possibility that my case got lost in their shelfs? Is that Possible that a adjucator have my file for a month and still didint make a decision on it?

I m trying to understand it.

So frustade with all of this.

Waiting on your input Sandra . And by the way congrats on your latest approval and all the others you have got.

Regards

Apple 2013 if your lawyer state in the i360 package that he wants to link your pending i485 they will. And if you told the io of your intent to file vawa when u went for interview for aos they'll hold your i485 and not put you in removal. I'm currently ready vj vawa part 2 and I'm learning a lot also I'm close with the guy in my attorney office so he informed me on a lot of things. Hopefully you'll get your interview soon and take a well deserved vacation to ur country.

It is approved already. When you get it for 180 days, can you keep renewing it as many times as you want it?

If your case is approved (i360) why would you need to apply for prima facie..An approval is an approval. Prima facie is the document issued pending approbal or denial. But as you stated its approved .I just hope you dont think a prima facie is an approval
