optmistchick Vermont usually takes 45/60 days to transfer the file to the local office, they act following policies and protocols, but if they do not transfer in 60 days then you have to contact them because sometimes they "forget" some cases there, lol it's true .We have here one member that attended AOS interview more than 1 month ago and the officer said her case was approved but she did not receive her GC, she went to the infopass and they realized the local office approved but forgot to put in the system and because of that she was waiting.. waiting and waiting and then they stamped her passport.

I applied 3/11 and received ead on 3/27

Akumu missing Biometrics appointment will result in denial of your application. If you do not trust in your lawyer then set up an appointment with infopass to find out if they set up your Biometrics appointment or not.

Thank you sandra. How to i set up an appointment with infopass??

I don't know why but it looks to me that Vermont is Holding back all MALES applications. The ones that is Been waiting for a long time are men. Maybe because they look more carfully into male cases.

SandraNJ i sent a email yesterday to ombudman's office. Will let you all know if they reply.

I will remind: the "waiting game" on your case is actually a hopeful sign. I have seen immigration cases, where a humanistic officer didn't want to issue a denial, was giving it more running time - and eventually sent out approval.

Now, when u say "it looks to me"...how? What did u hear from official sources? Or who are the unduly delayed MALES?

(if u meant youngSeattle: he's residing on the opposite side of the globe - so, that's bad for sampling. if u meant MacBook, who got denied: who knows what his case looked like) But if u know the particulars of other cases: please tell us
